I went to this show and was hired on as a bouncer catching crowd surfers. Buck Cherry opened and It was one hell of a show!!! Check out my footage at the roseland theater from three nights ago, they killed it!!!

@matthewTmccourt STP blows Alice in Chains out of the water? LOLOL yeah okay man. Love both bands but STP doesn't come close. Besides STP was always viewed as a Pearl Jam/Alice In Chains knock off. And that goes all the way back to when they first came out.

@danimal97520 yep ill agree.. i thought"the best of grunge" but... sex type thing kicked my ass more than any of the pearl jam AIC stuff rigth outta the gate.. it got a little dodgy when theyd get soft... ibut ive always like scotts voice better than both of em it didnt sound liek it was forced low(after seien this video though im convinced the real voice of aic in chains was jerry cantrell...he is amazing in this footage and the rest i have from this gig.

This was their first show with William as their lead singer wasn't it? One of their first anyway. I went to this show with a bunch of friends and we all agreed they were playing for Layne, we thought he had possessed William that night. We could almost see him on stage. Saw them again at the Gorge and even though they kicked ass it wasn't even close to the same performance. Same group of friends and again we all agreed; Layne just wasn't there that time. RIP Layne AIC will never be the same.
