The boss is not dumb. The game is not easy. The game is not dumb. Best of all of the Tales series so far.. and tied with Rebirth in my opinion. The only reason Ashe seems easy here, is because Tales2 is a master, and level 200 here (10x Experience file.) Ashe has more HP because he is on Very Hard, to my knowledge.. and the reason he keeps using Light Spear Cannon is because it keeps him in a stun chain.. its a smart way to take on Very Hard. The video is meant to be a feat, not beautiful.
He's using a combo that does the most damage in the least amount of time. Just because it's not "exciting" enough for you doesn't mean that it's not practical. Let's see you do better.

luke and asch are like zelos and kratos from TOS (luke being zelos Both zelos being a idiot act and serious zelos later in the story and asch acting like kratos) plus from what i see they have the same fighting style and attacks well this gives you a look on who'ed win in a fight zelos or kratos LOL love the music

This looks more repetitive than a Kingdom Hearts battle. My only grudge with Tales is that they HAVE to repeat those attack <shouts?> with EVERY lunge, but they're all great fun. Oh and you didn't have to heal once either... lol. But hey, what are final bosses for?
They don't repeat it all the time, sometimes they have more than one grunt (Luke can yell out Kurae or Houshuukyaku when using Houshuukyaku for example), and you shouldn't be abusing skills over and over anyway, because that's not as fun imo. :P
if you didn't notice he is at max level and this boss is weaker than others because it is 1 on 1.plus why would someone record a video of themselves screwing up... although i agree can't wait
