That's so pretty and I'm happy you put a video for black girls to get their hair curly to. I hope it works when I try it. But my hair is really thick will it still work?
will this style work if your hair is shoulder length for both techniques? how long would i have to have the curls in for it to look like that, can i curl it in the morning and then take it out for a date night?
Love the makeup and the hair! I like big bouncy curls on me but I haven't been able to get my pin curls to consistently turn out the way I like. Need more practice I guess!
I know I am late but I luv this tut. and your hair. I have about the same length and I am on a hair journey. This is a differnt way for me to get curls, cuz I hate rollers and I have recently fell in luv with Flexi rods... Much easier to sleep in and The pin curl will not hurt my head... Thanks alot for intro me to this style and luv the ponytail. I will try this... Gorgeous hair, thanks again mate...
you are soooooooooo gorgeous!!!....after seeing your videos it really helped me in transitioning to doing styles using less and less heat on my hair....your hair is very prettty..thanx for the videos <3
Thanks a lot for yours videos. i'm from france and i started to watch yours videos for one week and thanks to you i know how to manage my natural hair God bless you and keep on doing this videos
i am from european decent. my hair are dry, rebellious and curly. lately i've been having many issues with keeping it long. i found u technique very good, i'll try it out.
Where did you get the idea to curl your hair that way? I've never seen it done that way. I'm going to have to try your method. It looks like it's easy on the hair.
I lover your tutorials! Thank you so much. You are so inspirational. I have been transitioning for almost a year but I'm not going to do the big shop. I just cut off two inches of my relaxed hair at the salon yesterday though!!!
I love your hair. My hairdresser gives my hair a toussled look using the second pin curl method. I tried this before and I could not get this method down. I'm going to try this again today. What size pins do you use?
Lovely results!! That's my favorite hair lotion right now. The creme works wonders too. Thanks for another great tutorial- cant' wait to try this. :-)
Very nice and pretty!! You look amazing. You also have realy realy nice arms with super cool bicep muscles. You should realy show of in a bicep flex video... :-)
Thanks! I always wondered how people did pincurls. & WOW I think your hair looks longer & stronger since your 3 month challenge. beautiful! I love your videos! I need to remember to keep up with your blogspot!!! =]
Thanks for another great informative video!! Your hair in both techniques looks good. I will have to try that if I ever do a blowout to straighten me hair.
enjoyed the video!! I still remember 14 months ago when I watched your transitioning to natural video & how you inspired me to go natural!! thank you for your videos =)) God Bless!!
Another great vid giiirrrll, since my transition which is almost two years i've strayed from using heat on my hair but you make me want to bust out my dusty flat iron and give a go one more time!!! Great Job!!
Yea ur hair def did get long, and the thickness of ur hair is A LOT more noticeable, i guess avoid heat to ur hair for long periods of time seem to really help you! But ur hair looks great!
Simply beautiful, full results with no heat AND even better, NO stylist but yourself!! This style is truly an awesome way to travel lightly and work straight and hair full of body all in the same trip!
I am going to send my mom this video. She doesn't like to travel with a lot of things, the pin curl method would help her lighten up her load when traveling. Thank you.
Beautiful Curls. You look amazing as always!!Thank you so much for the vid, they have been very helpful for me and my lil girls hair..Stay Beautiful and Blessed!
Gosh you are so pretty! I have a question. I have curly, natural hair and it curls up whenever I apply any type of cream, oil, or liquid. This is a big problem when my hair is straight. How can I moisturize my hair when it's straight without it curling up??
@babyv2992010: Some lotions are more aqueous than others, so you may need to invest in one that doesn't contain too much water. Have you ever tried using coconut oil or shea butter to moisturize your ends when your hair is straight? Just a little should do, and it shouldn't cause your hair to revert.
You look like you have a really loose curl pattern (Maybe a 3C) if your hair is that straight after flat ironing with no relaxer. I don't even see any kitchens. I dont think most black women have that loose hair type curl so this routine may not work for the vast majority of people. Guuurrrll, you aint got naps. lol. What would be your advice to women who do?
@eric512140: I don't know if that's necessarily true, as I know quite a few women with hair much coarser than mine, who can get their natural hair pretty straight with a flat iron/pressing comb. I think it all depends on the products, tools, and technique used.
this is going to sound awful but what about sex? that tends to get sweaty, and your head may or may not be on different surfaces on different angles, if you have natural hair that is straightened is there anyway to prevent the sweat and friction from ruining the hair?
Thanks alot. Im going to try this even though my hair is half your length. Im so happy that your back and i am awaiting your video on how you add hair pieces to your hair.
I love that the ponytail keeps the curls at the ends, very glam <3 When my hair grows out I will give this a try!
