@l8rthen The idea behind "Clear-Hold-Build", is once the offensive is over, to begin building infrastructure and developing the province. Those Talibans who melt in with the populus may be a problem later...better to just anihilate the whole lot. There Are no "Moderate Talibans", that kind of thinking gets people killed.

i believe you are mistaken my friend--there are such thing as "moderate taliban".

for example, the old taliban used to beat women in the street if they were not covered up properly.

by comparison, the moderate taliban will still beat the woman who is not covered up properly, but they wont beat her as bad.

i know isn't great, that taliban is making strides and soon will be living by 8th centuy standards.

moderate taliban has as #1 priority a balanced budget.
