  • @raredragon04 ; It's a scam, idiot. Wilt is out to rob and defraud stupid shits like you.

  • I can tell by you 1 pixel camera and your sweater from 1970 that you have yet to be successful in your life. You look like you should be studying dinosaur bones instead of posting videos on youtube.com

  • @jeremyachenbach ; It's a scam, silly. "Free energy" is impossible.

  • @raredragon04

Let's suppose Wilt DID have a heart attack (I wouldn't know). The fraudulent pig posted his dumbass machine on youtube and even had local news do a story on it. Of course, the thing doesn't work. His math and conclusions are wrong and his machine is useless (AND WILT KNOWS IT). This is another example of a pig who doesn't understand physics misleading people into investing in magic beans. Heart attack or not, he doesn't deserve to be "left alone" after his lies to investors.

  • AMEN

  • @dogassedugly ; "Have you ever complimented someone on their work?"

My business is none of your business.

  • Yeah, I can't imagine why Wilt would get the impression that Desertphile was personally attacking, and not merely being helpful, when the title of the video is:

"Testing Proves Stupidity is a Virtue Among the Stupid"

    Sounds rather personal to me.

Beyond that, of course, I agree, Wilt IS a goddamned idiot. The moron thinks he knows better than every physicist on the planet, yet he doesn't have a grasp of basic magetism or electricity. Stupid AND arrogant, what a combo Wilt has going on.

  • @rockethead7 ; "Beyond that, of course, I agree, Wilt IS a goddamned idiot."

Last I heard from his web site's profile comment, Herman Wilt grabbed all of his victim's money and vanished, leaving his wife to run the scam.

  • DP, check the comment I made on his "Wilt Magnetic Motor Testing Part Two" video (unless he has deleted my comment). Tried to explain about power factor and Watts and using a real RMS calibrated Wattmeter for his measurements. How does he get 3% or so from motors that run from 75% to 90% efficiency depending on speed?

  • Why yes, I would LOVE to hand all of my money to crooks who aren't tax collectors for a change.

  • Max out a few credit cards and wait a year to pay them :-P

  • and he ain't even tried them newfangled neodymium magnets yet!!!

One thing is certain: You can be sure this has been the source of some SIDE-SPLITTING, CHOKING, BREATHLESS laughter around some engineering dept. lunchrooms where they've had the good fortune to discover this video.

I can imagine this guy's videos going viral among engineers and university engineering department.

The pieces of paper stuck to his display boards ALONE could cause life-threatening laughter.

  • Holy Jesus!! I actually watched both his videos. They made me want to die! The guy (and, by logical extension, his LORD) is so fucking stupid it actually brings tears to my eyes. This guy's future holds either (or both):

    1) Divorce, when his wife realizes he's totally delusional.

    2) Suicide, if he ever, by some miracle, for a few seconds, accidentally acquires a few more IQ points so he's smart enough to realize how incredibly stupid he is.

    Very very depressing...

  • Keep your homosexual fantasies off my channel.

  • never seen anyone......wear a hat before?

  • Brilliant! Further proof of stupidity! Ad hominem attacks always indicate a void between the ears.

  • Oooh negative word association based on a suffix... clever.

  • We are using step up gears to create work load with a gearing of 96 to 1 increass the load on the motor shaft, that the drill motor takes 6 amps to rotate the 15 lb disk, 1,000 RPM @ 125 volts that = 750 watts. The Wilt motor has to over come the same torgue load as the drill motor, the motor only uses 34 watts, 22 times less, the difference from energy comes from the magnets to make up the difference in energy to rotate.700 verses 34, alot of difference, try it. Do your own test. Herman

  • No. You have no idea what you are doing, and you have no idea how power is measured, nor do you know how energy input and output are measured. You don't even know enough about the subject to know why people are feeling sorry for you and your idiot claims. No engineer agrees with your absurd method of measuring output energy. Also, magnets do not contain energy and no engineer says so. If you wish to stop the pity, I suggest you acquire remedial high school-level physics education.

  • We know dude.

You're just trying to lure a bunch of uneducated viewers into buying into your claims.

You don't have to keep providing further evidence for the people who know physics.

  • Physics can be a harsh mistress :-)

  • Indeed, reality is also a harsh mistress.

  • There are still brushed electric motors with brushes made with the springs it depends on the design. My drill has some. That's the reality.; ) Good video though! Lots of different so called prototypes that all have impractical effects.

  • Well, I think you have it right; it's his baby, and you just called it ugly. I think it's actually a faith motor. It converts belief into direct current. Unfortunately, it only operates in the popemobile. They have one that runs off bullshit, but only polititians can put out enough to make it run. Sometimes it gets really hard to distinguish between the two.

  • The konzpirassy paid yoo too maek that commentz!!

    lol jk

  • LOL

  • LOL! Absolutely. OPEC.

  • Speaking of springs heating up: did you know that elastic bands actually work BY heat? Stick an elastic band between your lips (Because they are sensitive to heat) and stretch it; it will heat up. Relax it, it will cool down.

    Here's Richard Feynman's explanation: watch?v=XRxAn2DRzgI

  • It is remarkable how these magical schemes to design a better motor always completely ignore basic scientific certainties. But the human desire for some supernatural revelation in technology is rampant, even among people who should know better. In these situations, faith is absolutely the enemy.

  • What did you do with or to Spot!!! If I find out your have him tied up in a burrlap bag and hung up in an out house... I guess I'll just have a another beer.....

  • Yeah, you're like Mr. Wizard meets Simon Cowell. And like Mr. Cowell, I don't know how you're able to keep doing this, but it's a valuable and necessary thing. Even if feelings are sometimes hurt.

On the bright side, it's like any other hobby. You waste time and sent some part supplier"s kids through college.

I think people just can't get past that action-at-a-distance magic that magnets have. Would be nice if there was a website showing why all these configurations can't work.

  • If only Mr. Wilt had taken high school physics, all this nonsense could have easily been avoided :(

  • "not even wrong"

    "beyond idiotic"

    rofl

  • Hi Desertphile , i pretty much agree on what you point in this video , but IMO , predenting that our knowledge about how the Universe is working reflects how ACTUALLY it is working is at least extremly pretentious.

  • Yeah but the difference is, you just said basically nothing -- discussing things we can't know -- while scientists and engineers discuss what we can and do know, and how to use it. Then they design things that actually work, and produce results that aren't lies or baseless philosophical statements.

  • Yep but knowing that a thing works doesn 't mean that you understand how it works ( gravity for exemple).

The complete understanding of things leads inevitably to new discoveries and new applications .

    That 's what i meant.

  • That's what science is for.

  • DP, I am a scientist. I devised and tested methods of testing for science and technology when I was younger. Nothing has changed since those days (the 1980s) except improvements in the available tools. Now, amatuers can get tools, cheaply and readily, that we only *dreamed* of in the 1980s. I am one of THOUSANDS of people willing to aid those seeking to test their gadgets, pro bono, an to provide advice on how to test. Has anyone asked me or any of the others I refer to? What do you think?

  • Yeah, you scientist and engineers--- what the hell duz youz guyz know?! :-) Amateurs just crack me up with their amazing discoveries that people actually working in the related fields just somehow are blinded to.... like free energy and "energy from magnets."

Wilt would die before he lets anyone properly measure his device.

  • @Desertphile Wilt has had Clemson University and UGA engineers examine his motor.

  • @kate101091 ; "Wilt has had Clemson University and UGA engineers examine his motor."

No, he did not. Wilt refused to let them examine his motor after they insisted on being allowed to test it properly. Wilt refused: he even said so on his web site.

  • It's a comfortable illusion for him to live in. Without that illusion, his life's work is for naught, and he simply can't cope with that idea, so he'd rather maintain the illusion by any means possible than face the reality that his motor is useless.

That's my guess, at least. But what do I know.

  • More than that, the stupid idiot should stop spending his money on an idiot notion that he should now accept is wrong.

  • God fucking damn! Videos work a whole lot better on this Xindows XP machine. It's like you're kicking HHO/Gravity/Creationist/Fucktard ass in stereo!

  • esw, and it's about f-ing time you finally got rid of your Windows 3.11 machine. A least step into the 20th century.

  • It was designed to fool people as stupid or even stupider than wilt, preferably stupid people with money. It's very much like the bible, the babble was meant for people as stupid or stupider than the people who wrote it.

  • "It is so not right, it's not even wrong", Oh DesertPhile, that made me laugh out loud! These magnetic motors perplex me, all this wasted heat, losses, and do these Humans have no concept of the Laws of thermodynamics? You growing a Beard there DP? ;) Loved this video, gave me some ideas of my own. It is curious to me, how these guys nearly always claim that our debating or question their claims, is a personal attack. NOT A PERSONAL ATTACK, you dodos! We are being helpful, question claims. A+++

  • "Not only is it not right, it's not even wrong!!"

He quoted Wolfgang Pauli on that one. If you're going to pick a true badass from science to quote, Pauli was one of the best evarr.

  • There has to be some kind of punishment for the attempt to break the laws of physics. And being ass-whipped by Desertphile is a better punishment than anything else.

  • Of course, the machine exploding would be a pretty appropriate punishment too... but since it doesn't even damn work, it probably can't even explode.

  • Perhaps its the WAY you put forward your criticisms?

The sarcastic tone is what I mean.

Your demeanour in the last portion of the vid is very much different than the first part where you were criticising the motor for its flaws.

Just a suggestion, DP. I'm not having a go at you. B-)

  • Well if it talks like a moron, acts like a moron, and claims to have broken countless laws of physics with a trumped up electric motor that supposedly provides free energy like a moron, it's a moron.

  • I actually doubt that he would loose that much energy in the springs. The solenoids, on the other hand, are inherently inefficient devices that where never designed primarily for high efficiency (because that would be impossible). Also whenever something hit a mechanical stop, you loose loads of energy.

But I doubt the springs themselves are going to heat up much.

  • Springs get warmer when compressed/decompressed. Anything that gets warm is giving off energy, i.e. losing it.

  • @sillygames:

    "Springs get warmer when compressed/decompressed"

Of course they do. My point is that compared to the other losses in the design this negligible.

And if the spring really heat up they won't be springs for much longer...

  • Look d3adp001, why don't you do something useful like get some proper funding for education, instead of rights for the rich to rape your country for the sake of bonuses for the rich and even more inequality.

    It is beyond a joke.

  • Maybe his next invention could be a time machine so that he can go back in time, or forward, whichever he thinks is better, to steal time from then. That'd show us all about the "conservation of energy"!

  • His brainchild is ugly.

  • dont get me wrong Dp and everyone, I dont want to see an apology for it. But dont be a dodger, that really reduces ones credibility.

  • People like him see criticism as a personal attack because they are afraid of being wrong. They see something wrong with being wrong so they see you saying that their wrong as an attack against them.

    Criticism is a good thing.

  • Well DP when you say people are complete fucktards, that is an attack on their person. Please don't try and dodge that. You do in fact attack people along with their ideas. Stand up straight and cop to the things you have done.

I dont always disagree with you in your assessment of their intelligence, but you do insult them.

  • @d3adp001, the insult is to our intelligence. Many universities all around the world now have blocks to certain USA states due to the quantity of fucktard mail they get from uneducated ranting fools who think they are the next Tesla. and yet cannot even do basic math.

It is not a joke anymore, some parts of the USA are an insult to humanity with their conspiracy and anti-intellectual trash.

Spend your time telling them to STFU and rebuild your education system.

blame Ron Paul Palin Bush creeps

  • The thing is, some of the conspiracies about our government are correct.

    There are stupid people EVERYWHERE.

Stupidity isn't an American condition, it's a human condition.

  • If you can't see passed the ability to tune your statements to correct that issue then you will never educate them. Telling someone to sit down, doesnt tell them why, or educate them, it simply shows your willingness to tyrant over them, which is the custom of all those who practice politics, in either flavor. This two party arguement, but they both do the same thing in the end result. I could use your own arguement on you right now. the chairs are over there.

  • Howdy again. My intent is not to educate people who have an emotional investment in remaining uneducated; my purpose in making the videos I make is to amuse myself. Nothing I say to Mister Wilt, no matter how I say it, will sway him into accepting basic facts about engineering; he is no more able to grasp the flaws in his beliefs than a Creationist is.

  • I know that people doggedly hold on to their fanatasies, and I am not faulting you for lasting them, personally or intellectually. I am just hoping to see you stay truthful, you stated that you dont attack people, but you do. I dont have a problem with it, just an issue about admitting it.

  • That guy put so much work into it. He should call it a sculpture and put it in a gallery. Industrious men with no grasp of the basics of science have made some very entertaining prototypes.

  • "wilt" is not the sort of word that seems positive in the context of "ENERGY".

    Eg

    wilt - ENERGY

My suggestion is to call it "Extra ridgid massive boner energy!"

    Now yer talkin'

  • So that is why there is no springs, it heats up.

  • Some people think they're the cleverest sons of bitches on the planet and if anyone tries to point out something they did that is incorrect, they go into full defense mode. These people are called narcissists.

  • @Relyt22 I see, so that is narcissist. I always wonder why people uses that word so much and the dictionary is so hard to understand.

  • Well, they also see any forms of criticism as personal attacks. Another clear sign of narcissism.

  • @Relyt22 and stupid. Lots of stupid humans cant see how stupid they are, honestly. And they simply think that it is never themselves that are idiots.

Is a pyschological fact. UK scientists did research on stupidity. And incompetent humans cant see their own icompetence or other's competence.

  • @Vogter2100 I was about to comment that when someone is calling someone a narcissist, is he the narcissist ?

  • Ridicule is The best tool we have to combat against unprovable claims from Spreading.

  • All of these people, (including your hydrogen friends), win praise from me for having ideas. They're better than people who have never had an idea in their lives.

    BUT,

If they are wrong they are wrong!

  • So not only do you have something against imaginary friends. You don't like imaginary technology either?

  • haha I chuckled a bit

  • lol, nice comment :)

  • Some people just have no imagination at all.

  • You are Correct. They should want to know what is wrong with their idea. But any attempt to tell them is met with 'your stupid'

'you don't know anything' Same with the HHO cult. They don't want to hear it. It is too bad.

  • This isn't the motor with magnetic disks spinning in a vacuum is it?

  • Everybody can file a patent, I could file a patent on a roosters egg catching device that would use 8 camera's and heat sensors to pick up when the rooster would lay an egg.

Yes I know that is the most stupid idea ever.

  • @masticina I'd buy one for sure. I want to be there the moment my ol' fightin rooster finally pushes one out (I named him Tyson - all puns intended!). It should be ANY DAY the lord has assured me!

(lol wow I think I'm bored...)

  • I would love to see the patent filing clerks face when he studies the patent claims!!

  • Hey they would take my $5000 orso what it takes to file a patent. So I am sure he/she doesn't even minds it that much.

  • Rooster's laying eggs... LMAO... Ummm... noooo....

  • LOL ugly baby.

    Nice sweater.

  • Besides, the moment someone goes from just telling you "sorry thats wrong" to the extremist tone of "what the fuck, are you stupid????" should ALONE tell him HOW wrong it is. Sorry that learning has to be a brash experience sometimes, but that's just the way it is.

If he had done more research and not been so quick to tout nonsense even b4 fact checking himself, then he only brought it upon himself. We should ALL walk away with a lesson learned.. just to make sure you apply it! :)

  • "He sees criticism as a personal attack"

    A hit dog will holler

  • Well you are smart enough to want to know that. Mr Wilt is not that smart.

  • 0 ratings 0 views, I guess I have to be that annoying asshole. Nah.
