@frax911 -Yes! Papyrus, anyone? Paper used to be made from linen & cotton rags. Parchment was made from sheep & goat skins; much more renewable than trees - and they live in a biosymbiosis with soil & fungi, and other plants that paper could be made from. I've heard that paper is made from trees because it takes MORE CHEMICALS than making paper from fibers like cotton- so the chemical corporations pushed it. Why am I not surprised?
