Blow off valves help avoid air flow meter reversion, if your not running a Air flow or Air mass meter there is no issue, map sensors run after throttle body therefore not affected. The reason vehicles running AFM's are affected are because they are not direction sensitive, so if air passes the AFM backwards due to BOV not venting or existing, voltage is triggered and ECU dumps fuel... car stalls, or hunts, The modern Ball baring turbo wont get hurt not running a BOV, it also sounds AWSOME
We Run the same ramp rate on all our vehicles 160. not that it makes much difference to power figures. i must admit that cars making big torque do have wheelspin issues...
I saw this car up close in sydney 2 years ago. It was using the big trust T88 and a standard getrag 6 speed. Looked like a stock standard car from the inside too. Anyones guess as to weather the gearing in the getrag has been modified though. From what I was told the car breaks traction before it breaks driveline parts.
