  • this makes me think of weddings :B

  • I love have sex on this music

  • @papat1999 If Handel knew that his music would have that effect on you, he never would've written it. God, who I serve (and in Whose presence Handel now is), detests comments and actions like these.

  • @SwedishSeraphim Handel wrote this Water Music by committement of the Queen. I'm not able to know what kind of feeling he wanted to have on persons of the "future", as we are.

  • @pepix54 You're correct that we can't know his exact intentions, but Handel was a Christian, therefore we can know what some of his intentions weren't.

  • @SwedishSeraphim

    Here Here!!!

  • Sheba was a kingdom in Yemen, the queen's name was Balqees.

  • Just saying, bach is better.

  • @pariah234

Bach is the king of music! But Händel is is his first minister.

  • @KarlMartell732

    Yes he is is

  • @pariah234 I major in music theory, and I can tell you one thing, they're almost the same thing...

  • @pariah234 not a good argument. bach is a better instrument writer, but his vocal writing is not that good. handel's instrument writing is alright but his vocal writing is the best the baroque era has seen

  • Händel is the best composer ever!

  • I love this

  • My friend Katie is a violinist and plays this piece, and I found this lovely video just for her.

  • Sheba cat food should use this on their advert :D

  • @fatahmyx thanks, mate !

  • @robertsasyannick you're welcome

  • Never paid much attention to Händel, but this is seriously beautiful!

  • 49 people don't like classical music...

  • I live this song! I play it in my orchestra at school and the state orchestra and in one of my chamber music groups at music camp lol so I've got it under my belt by now haha i live how it's soooo easy yet it sounds so nice with the whole orchestra and I play the cello with the school orchesta and the violin with the state orchestra and the piano with the chamber group so I can hear from like every angle lol :)) magnifico!

  • Sheba- ein Fest für Katzen! *ggg*

  • my orchestra is playing this piece. :)

  • Isn't this classical? I see one of the top comments says 'this baroque is just fantastic' and its in a classical playlist. Is it one of those songs which were branching between baroque and classical? I hear the harpsichord also. Someone please lemme know. :)

  • @Justhomester It's because the baroque is a period in the music history where this song was composed...

  • @DjulleK well it's in a classical playlist, so i was confused. but thanks.

  • He composed this song for me.

  • @HeyRuka

    you wish

  • @HeyRuka Your Highness!

  • @HeyRuka

Hey, aren't you that dumb White supremacist who doesn't know how to source/read/think?

  • @HeyRuka

Of course, you got it wrong again. It's not a 'song'. 'Songs' are written for voice.

  • @colourfulwithaU

Here here! someone else who appreciates the value of music being symphonic!

  • @Tgedz98

I really don't care about the technical distinction between a song and a piece, I just wanted to chew out HeyRuka because she's a White Nationalist.

  • There's a Handel song in the closing credits of the movie : The Aviator. Its the best and I cant remember, or find this song...anyone know?

  • @ForcedAgenda Send me a link to the ending and i might be able to tell you the song. I have the very best of Handel playlists.

  • @ScotsmanTillDeath I just played the movie the other day and could not even find the song. I might have mistook this movie and song for another...I'm at a loss at this point. Thanks the the help though.

  • groovy. very nice ensemble too.

  • al escuchar a Haendel con su musica que te hace renacer...se produce algo que justifica la emocion por vivir con alegoria, tiene tal sensibilidad hacia lo bello que es indescriptible

  • Sounds like somebody just completed "Adam Smith's Trading Company". Certainly music to my ears.

  • @TwinPalmTrees Hahaha, you play too much Civilization :-D

  • The empire spirit was shaped around Handel music. Agree?

  • He was born with the Name Georg Friederich Händel... it's OK to adapt words into other speeches, but I think that a name should stay as it is...

  • @Haunzi1991 he changed the spelling of his name himself when he went to england so i don't think it's a big problem...

  • This music is quite good for sex

  • Your mother is fat!

  • 1749? Teenagers says today "the music maked one years ago is too old"

  • @italokid80 it is made , not maked

  • I love this piece. Originally, I thought it was one of the Brandenburgs by Bach. I spent years trying to find it then happened on it quite by accident.

    GMAXX

  • Mamma mia,viva la musica!

  • of course you can swear listening to baroque music, its not like its going to hurt you. brilliant recording by the way.

  • This fat fag was one of the greatest composers ever.

  • God bless us Brits! With a bit of German...

William Herschall an astronomer and a composer too!!

  • @LordGeorgeRodney

We can donate Händel with pleasure to you Brits and still we have Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert and Wagner ;). Anyway, we both have great nations of art and culture !

  • @KarlMartell732 totally agree! : )

  • @KarlMartell732 I will agree with you there, but I think you have the advantage when it comes to great composers. I think we probably shade it on literature. With Goethe, Gunter Grass, Thomas Mann and a few others however, you do have some excellent authors too.

  • @blackbeasthamish

Don´t forget Schiller, please ;) But I think you´re absolutely right. Germany´s main resort seems to be classical music, whereas Britain´s is literature. Bach and Shakespeare are the godfathers of their particular genres. And must say that I prefer to read Swift, Defoe, Dickens or Conan Doyle over Grass and Kafka.

But the dutch and italians beat us both in painting and the french maybe in ballet ;)

  • @KarlMartell732 I think you're right on all counts. Sorry about Schiller by the way. Was just an oversight.

  • @blackbeasthamish

Never mind. Just stop these barbaric gangs who burn and loot your beautiful country these days ! Greetings !

  • @KarlMartell732 I'll drink to that - cheers!

  • I played this piece of music for my AVCM in electronic organ playing. It took some time to learn it but loved every minute!

  • simply great...

  • When Beethoven was dying , he was given Handels complete works, and said

" For I have desired this music, Handel is the greatest composer "

  • This, and the Judas Maccabeus overture are the best Handel pieces!

  • how come that 46 people cannot see the beauty of this magnificent creation, which glorifies life in such a lovely manner?

  • My wife to be and I have chosen this piece to be playing as we leave our up coming wedding .Always makes me smile and will be even more happy whenever I hear it from now on.

  • @madog1971 Hehe. It makes ME smile when i think of this song + weddings; have you seen this: "/watch?v=Wm0XqDm8Uh0" (copy and paste, without the quotation marks of course).

  • Who is this a recording of?

  • Do you think you may put that in writing as I am a butler and when I do this to my employer I would like to be able to say look on Youtube, I must say he is very good to work for and enjoys humour but I think I miss hitting him.

  • welcome to baroque

  • Can anyone tell me who painted the portrait?

  • @Morpheus1910 Thomas Hudson

  • vlw me ajudou com um trabalho da escola xD

  • I prefer Bach, but Haendel is not so bad. And like dinizthemxking, I love baroque music. But I just can't understand why Beethoven was so fond of Haendel ? Beethoven is just one hundred miles above Haendel...

  • "Angus Wilson is on holiday."

  • The baroque is just fantastic

  • 45 people are deaf and cant hear this beauty

  • 45 people are deaf and ear this beauty

  • How on earth can anyone dislike this piece of music - or anything Handel wrote? Fantastic composer - along with all the other 'greats' like Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Vivaldi etc etc...

  • If Mozart loved him than Handel is beyond the genius we recognize him as.

  • the best.

  • Do you have any Grey Poupon?

  • Georg Friedrich Händel

  • qué pasrte del oratorio es?

  • A pesar de que el estilo barroco no es mi favorito, esta melodía me encanta n.n

  • 0:06 Johann Sebastian Bach? ?

  • @FuzzyBlueFreddy its called counter point ;)

  • @warezpl0 counterpoint might as well be called 'the Bach'

  • @FuzzyBlueFreddy what??

  • Respond to this video...

  • This is excellant, i had a hec of a job keeping up with them on my banjolele but it was worth it and very good fun too. Thanks for the effort

  • when they discover the music of the spheres, will it be Handel or JS Bach?

  • Cut off crap about this Justin Bieber fans disliking any video on youtube.

  • @ffiaux umad, justin?

  • @voxlashi no

  • Handel, you were one portly fellow, but you most certainly know how to compose a masterpiece.

  • Oh how I love the Bieber blocker on my computer...

  • Wtf, Bieber now even in the comments under videos of classic masterpieces? GTFO

  • So nice piece by the Greatest composer who ever lived , Handel to him we bow the knees.

  • Handel will survive a momentary blip of trolldom while at the same time Bieber thrives amidst it all...it's all very pointless.

  • @deepfugue what is a bieber?

  • @mrwigiteeman

a bieber? A bieb it's a baroque era instrument-- like a flute. When played, thousands of rats follow the sounds and some like the music made by the instrument while others hate the music...but in the end, the followers find that they have something in common: they have devoted too much of their lives in contempt or adoration of the bieber. Hope that helps.

  • @deepfugue Nice so the name's is old and has nice meaning, thanks for the history lesson, lol. Rats.

  • @deepfugue

    Awesome.

  • @mrwigiteeman a bieber means the PURE example of being a gay faggot, shit, pedo, and more

  • @PrInCeShAdE1 Do people really listen to the sound of a bieber to music? He gets paid by the companies that buy his records, not the people the buy them... because people don't really buy them. Get it? He prolly was abused as a child and will be killed before he hits 30, or not.

  • Nice fluffy music without much substance. Precisely the kind of music that appeals to people that seem to think all purely instrumental music was intended as mood music for grocery shopping, elevator rides and chilling by the pool.

Did you know Handel adapted this sinfonia from a movement from a concerto for 3 violins written by his good friend, Telemann?

  • @vdgplayer show u could compose may be 0.1% of what handel composed and post it .Then i can agree with ur comments.

  • so nice :-) i wanted to show it my girlfriend....but i forgot about the name...but now i found it and am so happy :-)

  • @LolonMatinez didn't stop him fucking your mom

  • =D This was my wedding recessional! So happy...
