The influence and cross dressing transferance --with THE TUBES is very obvious here on one of my favourite songs Pineapple what a blast I used to play this at parties in CANBERRA in Australia in the mid 70's and people would say WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT? MANE..
When I was young - back in the 1970's - I got this album and it was this track which made my mom a fan as well. She loved this song and would laugh 'til she cried. Thanks for posting. I miss hearing her laugh, but can still remember it.
p.s. Seduction of Ingmar Bergman is a great album as well.
Thanks so much for posting this. It certainly goes back in Spark's time! I really liked their early efforts, though. They were silly, irreverant, and talented as heck. Who would have thought they'd last for decades?
I used to have this on 7" single. B side I'm sure.

I was born in 1973- This LP was given to me by my mom's friend when I was around 5. I think 'Pineapple' was the first alternative track I ever loved.

"And the tips can be used / for anything that you choose"... These guys have always made me smile. Great stuff.

@Babaziba Actually, the lyric is "the tins can be used..." (not tips) :-)
