  • Thank you Lowes. This video answered the last questions I had. I will now go and install it.

  • This motherfucker couldn't explain SHIT!!!!

  • @Haskanawa72 Get lost you moron....Lowes vids are probably the best explanitory vids on You Tube.

  • i installed this stuff 8 yrs ago and it still looks great and have had no issues

  • this is very helpful. this weekend me and my family are installing these to our living room. its gonna look very nice :-)

  • very helpful thx

  • Great video. I installed two rooms myself with the help of an experienced carpenter that had a skill saw. Very easy to put down. Trickiest part is the cuts u have to make at the ends. U need a skill saw or a cutting apparatus the sell at Home Depot for $70. Lowes may sell one too. Get the $15 install kit. Do use a rubber hammer(get one at the 99cent store). When u tap pieces together, a metal hammer may nick the floor if u miss. DO GET KNEE PADS..you'll spend allot of time on your knees

  • mostly helpful

  • I highly recommend NOT using the locking flooring if you are doing it yourself...if it doesnt need glue, staples or nails...it wont stay down (level)

What a pain in the ass to install! I did our living room and it drove me nuts!

Look and ask questions before you purchase locking flooring!

  • @MrZee1967 this is the easiest floor to instal, a 10 year old kid could do this. Its easy i do this everyday...hardwood also.

  • What happens when damage is done to a panel in the middle of the floor? How do you get the friigin thing out and how do you replace it?

  • @Nunsweepit421 there some kind of laminated that you can cut the board and insert another and you can always undo the floor until you get to the damage board.

  • My comment to this video is: for someone without experience it is a good start and some things are easier for some people as well, and one can take into consideration about this particular kind of video(instructional) is just a little help and encouragement for the one that feels no confidence in taking the job.

I am considering in doing the job myself, and thanks for this kind of videos and extensive thanks to youtube for being a great tool for all of us.

  • lol knee pads

  • so pretty! :3

  • Great video I'll be back when I do my floor.

    Thanks

  • Me and husband just did ours this weeken. It took us 2 day and 2 people. we were sore for like 3 days and very sleepy.

  • @gotfreckles me and my boss can do up to 1000 sq. ft in 5or 6 hours lol

  • This is very helpful. Im gonna do it myself in the summer!

  • I just did one of these theres a lot more that goes into this like cutting constant measure keeping 1/4 in. from wall

  • Reminds me of when I used to watch DIY all the time.

  • Some great information.

  • these are the kind of video's that truly need to be on Youtube because they are very helpful. another thing is that I believe they would sell more stuff if they (like this vid) showed how to put their items together.good video 5 stars!
