  • Terry Dene and the Dene Aces were well ahead of their time and produced several excellent British slices/versions of cool relatively unheard of then U.S. and Canadian Rockabilly numbers...Keep Rocking Terry..always a pleasure to hear n see ya perform.

  • Keep rockin, Tel!

  • Great UK version of the Jack Scott song. '57 recording pre-dates 'Cliff's 'Move It' by 12 months and I always think of this as the first true British RnR recording. Terry is still out there rockin' and I played a set with him at the 100 club earlier this year. Great bloke and a great singer.

  • @JohnnyGuitar1958 Marty Wilde's Love Bug Crawl was in 1957 also.

  • I thought Terry Dene was dead...

  • Terry Dene is still alive

    he is 71

Sorry, I was refering to the book 'I thought Terry Dene was dead'. A friend of mine reccomended it to me after bumping into Terry in a music shop somewhere in London a few yeras back... The book is a good read although Terry does come across as a bit of a lost soul who always seemed to mess things up...
