it's amazing how much preperation and evaluation they put into their job... only to be the worst refs in a professional league i have ever seen.. week in and week out the refs in the cfl make our league look like a joke.
@mrfancypants91 Im still going to yell at a ref if he makes a bad call, but people are always against a ref, even if he makes the right call... and i do think this can give fans a new appreciation- i just took a look at some of the comments "This is really eye-opening" and "I respect the refs a whole lot more after watching this, but if I see a bad call, I will defiantly still be yelling"- i think that just about proves my point. i learned a lot about a refs job that i never knew before
1:12 Ron Barss puts in a lot of off-season work in referee clinics as well. Officials do a lot of work between games and in the off season that not many know about. It's a lot more than just showing up at a game and calling the game and hope not to make too many mistakes. Mistakes are documented, scrutinized and even used to teach others.
I cannot give enough praise for officials in any kind of sport. For a long time I've wanted to witness a behind the scenes of officials in Canadian Football. I'd like to see the same from the AFL, NFL, NHL, MLB, EPL, Bundesliga etc.
Great Documentary. It's a very tough job for the ref's. I also liked how they prepared for each football before the game. I wonder if these referees do both CFL & NFL?
The officials have a hard job. This video shows how difficult their job is and is welcome to see. They are under as much from everybody as the players are from their coaches. The officials have the hardest job on the field and they do it to the best of their abilities. Kudos to the officials. Good Job

@NateRosie Tough job yes, but new appreciation, probably not. A bad call is a bad call and nothing will change a football fans mind.
