In this particluar song, nearly, if not all of the lyrics are in english. Liz breaks words into unusual accent and syllable combinations. In a lot of the earlier CT songs, the lyrics were in weird combos of Latin, French, English and just plain gibberish. All of course sounding amazing. I really don't pay attention to the lyrics, I just love her voice (and Robin and Simon's guitar work) for what it is: musical bliss.

I think Four Calendar Cafe is one of their best albums, but the Cocteau Twins are one of those bands that have good songs on ever album. It is a perfect album in my opinion from start to finish and I haven't got sick of listening to it yet. I bike alot to that album. That and Heaven and Head are all great.

I'm always intrigued how they handle live versions. More often than not they are twisted and shifted slightly from the studio versions...good for them!

What an absolute crime they rolled credits and faded out prematurely on the band - cretins!!!!

I love watching them live BECAUSE they're always different than on record...I mean, who wants to hear the exact same thing you can hear on the album? Definitely a less energetic performance than on Leno, but just as amazing for different reasons. Love it. Thank you for posting!
