amazing arrangement and play. I'm really looking forward to more FFXII arrangements like this. I'll die if there'll be no official piano collections to FFXIII, though.. unless some great arrangers like you take up the duty, of course.
There's a lot of thing I love (I mean, I love to play) in the arrangement : the first page is beautiful ; the [C] part is very difficult for me to render properly (a lot of accent here). I played the [D] piano and, perhaps too slowly, but the left hand at bar 57 (F - A - G) is wonderful. The [G] part is very strange and quiet, and it's difficult to play it directly after the [F] part. The transition (bar 90 is very difficult for me, to control the sound). And I love the end too :)
I'm the one who don't know what to say ! I think your arrangement is a professionnal work, and a better work, for example, that the "Kingdom Hearts Piano Collections", a very boring album. That's why I try to do my best here ; still it's not perfect.
@Delldongo gasp!!! Boring you say? I think it may be a bit over arranged to be ridiculously difficult but the tracks are quite exciting to listen to. The musical structures used in those arrangements really showcase what a versatile instrument the piano. Listen to Finale, Hand in Hand, Riku's Theme and of course the epic Concert Paraphrase on dearly beloved! To each his own opinion...but boring is a bit harsh isnt it? Boring could probably be used to describe the pre DQ VI piano albums -_-
@Arrow9100kj If you talk about KH PianoCollections, yes it's VERY boring album, there's no creativity at all. The Concert Paraphrase??? More like a Paraphrase of Chopin, it's a "cut-and-past" of Chopin, nothing more.
@Delldongo It definitely shows some Chopin resemblances. Its kinda like the Ocean Etude with those arpeggios and stuff. Harmonically its kinda rachmaninov-esque but the overall album does show lots of creativity. Maybe you like the Field and Battle Collections more sir?
No way man!! This sounds much better in mine opinion! No extra sounds in the background etc. I think this sound is even warmer!! Please keep using the digital recorder in the future:P
love this arrangement got the sheets and can't wait to play

it was arranged by Casey Ormond actually, not this guy. But he is good.

"this guy" has a name, you know.
All the credits goes to Kiamet for this arrangement.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend...

just, wow.
great arrangement, genuine performance.
does great justice to FFXII and the piano collections that were never officially made for it!
it would definitely make the composers of FFXII proud.

What can I say, Delldongo, that was fantastic! A very expressive rendition. Now I'm all fired up to finish the next one!
Also it would be cool to have this as a video response to the original.
Again, awesome work mate!

are you talking about the official one or Josh Barron's?

The official, of course.

Ah I see. I didn't think it was that bad but I do agree with you that most of the arrangements weren't very good.
Great job on playing the song btw! I'm going to try to upload a video of myself playing this beautiful piece.
:)

Anyways, thank you very much. I only began to try to do an arrangement of "Seeking Power", in the same way as you (I hope)
(hey, very annoying, this "500" limits here ... :S)
