Please Help! I'm having some serious issues with my FC Mobile II. Some games which work fine on my real NES [Tetris, Mario 2, and the Duck Hunt/Mario cart] start up fine on the FC, but then get blurry, and often freeze, it looks like its circuit bending or something like that.
I can upload a video so you can see EXACTLY what's happening. This worries me, I dont want to end up frying any of my NES games! Have you had a problem like this?
I recently played Super Mario 3 all the way through, and the buttons on the wireless controlers got on my nerves. And the Game genie will work on this too.
yeah me too. i was playing Batman and the remote isn't sensitive enough to the specific movies. And then played Double Dragon 2 and TMNT 2 that require double button pressing, and it wouldn't work! It's like one button works at a time.
Thanks, Just took a look at it, it runs about $60, i'll probably have to wait on it considering i just bought a bunch of stuff on ebay. I'm also looking into getting a genmobile.
I've seen these FC Mobiles in some of the retro game shops around Chicago. They look really cool. But I thing they charge $45.00 around here. You got a steal at $30! As for the sound ... it might be a combination of the quality of the speaker (probably minimal quality to keep cost low) and slightly "off" emulation. Just guessing. But cool addition to your collection!
I don't think i would take it on the go like i would a gameboy, but maybe on a car trip or something. I got the camera on black friday, i didn't even have to fight through the crowds because i got it online for the same price.
Alexdemoted has got some sick videos, i started off by watching his flea market videos, and was inspired to make my own vids. I'll do my best to shoot some flea market stuff of my own.
yeah, from what I've seen that doesn't seem to be the only thing you should use to play NES games, but it's definitely great if you like gaming on the go
Yeah, i don't think anyof these FC devices should be used as a primary NES device. It's good for on the go NES action, except for the screwdriver battery port.
excellent honest review! your nes collection puts mine to shame! how good are the controls?

They have 4 buttons because the A and B button are normal, but AA and BB are Rapid Fire.

Around here they had them for $59.00. Yeah i can see them putting in low budget speakers to keep costs low.

Alot of people say if you have it at a normal volume and don't blast it, it sounds fine. I don't know though cause i don't have one.

What i've noticed, is that it's only with the later release titles that it happens with. The older games sound alot better.

Thanks, i'm going to try and shoot from different angles to switch it up a little bit. About how long do the batteries last in it?
echo036 2 years ago
They have a Genesis one called the Genmobile, i'm thinking really hard on that one.

thanks, it feels a whole lot better to shoot a video without the use of my digital camera.
