Been to Garden of The Gods in UT very interesting formations throughout SE Utah. Global Crustal Displacemement is one of best explanations of many anomolies throughout the world.
I like tot think the earths crust is like a dimpled eggshell and each time the planet goes through the galactic plane in its approx 25920 yr cycle it gets a new "body" job from the change in em polar alignment, solar flares, concentrated gravitational fields etc as the hammer to mottle a new crust.
One of the best sources on the Galactic Equator is the original article from 1959, in which the International Astronomical Union (IAU) defined it. The IAU's paper is quite understandable, and I illustrate it in the video "Correction: The Galactic Equator's NOT 'Arbitrary', and it's not the Galaxy's equator".
this makes a lot of sense
