As a matter of fact it's none other than Shirow Masamune! and to be pefectly honest I'm glad to have such a renowned person working on such a great franchise...(even greater in his own country ^.^')
Im not crazy for it, but I dont hate it. What I hate is class swapping, that makes like,.. all characters useless since you just use the best 10 ones and swap 'em into anything.
I agree with you, Class swap does ruin the game because the characters just lose their value because they can be so easily replaced. I thought fire emblem DS was very playable but really dissapointing.

Its not exactly like Rock paper Scissors, in rock paper scissors you win or lose. The weapons triangle just means certain weapons are going to be more effective than others. the whole series is full of tactics and fire emblem is not for simple minded people. Fair play everyones entitled to their own opinion but your making fire emblem out to be a tactic-less game and thats not true in the slightest.
it does take tactics but in past games the weapon triangle had a much greater effect, game changing, even. But now it does help you but it really doesnt matter what type of weapon theyre holding, as long as you are better statistically.
thats what it comes down to at the end of the day, weapons do affect certain statistics but its the characters stats that make the difference. on RD and POR i still use faster swordsmen to eliminate the lanced units.
I dunno about your points of view, but for my like, FIRE EMBLEM has changed ALL in the art about this Fire Emblem "DS". I Will MISS the real art of the Advance Games and the Game Cube/Wii as well, Why the caracters have to be SO ASIAN.. and the animation on other videos on youtube, are so steady. I Loved the 2D animation from the Advance, and get a little disapointed in the gamecube for the little steady moves. I like FIRE EMBLEM for the game story, but Make a fine game from it, not just letters

I'm starting to get concerned. I became obsessed with FE thanks to SSBM and then FE7 but I'm worried about this one. I liked the GBA graphics much better and in this one they all look weird. Also I can't believe how little is known about it when it's coming out in less than a week in Japan. I really hope it comes over to America soon.

They probably won't even have an exuse, they just won't release it. The good news is that I read the other day that Final Fantasy Tactics 2 wasn't scheduled for an American release until after the Japanese one so maybe the same will be ture here.

MY GOD these graphics ARE awful. they should have made it similar to FE6-8, those are the best games by far. The sprites, music, and characters were all terrible in the GC and Wii games and now they're repeating their mistake. IMO, bad move on their part.

Can't wait till this game comes out. I hope there are showing supports (similar to FE: Sacred Stones support where the character support are shown to which character you can make a support with), and that the full support with any women ends up in the ending as marriage.
All of the FE games are great (handheld and GC/Wii). I do prefer the handhelds though. Just because I can take it with me wherever I go. I hope the supports are as good as they were in the previous two for the GBA (especially after the huge let down for supports in RD). As for the graphics, I'm sure they'll be better when the game is actually released for us to play.
The animation looks a little wierd....they look like they're in a world more realistic than they are...But I still can't wait for this game to come out :3
i honestly hope that all the FE games not released in the US will be remade for DS ro Wii, i really love this series alot. i also hope that a sequel is made the RD even though its not really possible. But i believe that they could with just a few tweeks in the story, an amazing new story could be made. does anyone agree/ want that to happen?
i have the graziest idea that with a few tweeks, nintendo and intelligent systems could pull off a sequel to RD, even though the ending basically closed the book.
FE 6 is out on a ROM and a possible English Patch using a Emulator u can play the english version and Fe 1 wasnt as popular generally due to the System it was on which was a japan only system,and.. im pretty sure they wanted to let people know whats the Craze about Marth in the first place, he is in Brawl and Melee after all
i perfer them in handheld style 2, and for the date and time of gba the graphics r really good, better than most of the other fe games, although i will admit PoR has the best graphics RD has coloring issues, they look like cartoons unlike in PoR

Honestly, even though marth's popularity is huge merely from super smash bros, I bet Nintendo will have a stupid excuse to not release this in the U.S. because it is a fire emblem 1 remake.
Lets hope I am proved wrong though.

They probably won't even have an exuse, they just won't release it. The good news is that I read the other day that Final Fantasy Tactics 2 wasn't scheduled for an American release until after the Japanese one so maybe the same will be ture here.

Hmm... I'm sure there will be an english version. My friends and I have heard so much about it, and it seems like a possibility. Even if they don't release it in America, there's always somebody who will translate the ROM to english. That's been done before.

MY GOD these graphics ARE awful. they should have made it similar to FE6-8, those are the best games by far. The sprites, music, and characters were all terrible in the GC and Wii games and now they're repeating their mistake. IMO, bad move on their part.

hmm they need to make a remake of all of them to come out like Gaiden, Genealogy of the Holy War, Thracia 776, Blinding Blade (Sword of Seals in Japan) and they have one for BS which is Basic Satelite thing made for the Super Nintendo in Japan and Mystery of the Emblem isn't included since its the same thing as Shadow Dragons and Sword of Light just improvements from the NES version

At the moment I don't like the pseudo-3D style of this FE. I'll end up getting used to it, but I'd much rather it to be 2D-ish like the last few.

Can't wait till this game comes out. I hope there are showing supports (similar to FE: Sacred Stones support where the character support are shown to which character you can make a support with), and that the full support with any women ends up in the ending as marriage.

All of the FE games are great (handheld and GC/Wii). I do prefer the handhelds though. Just because I can take it with me wherever I go. I hope the supports are as good as they were in the previous two for the GBA (especially after the huge let down for supports in RD). As for the graphics, I'm sure they'll be better when the game is actually released for us to play.

i honestly hope that all the FE games not released in the US will be remade for DS ro Wii, i really love this series alot. i also hope that a sequel is made the RD even though its not really possible. But i believe that they could with just a few tweeks in the story, an amazing new story could be made. does anyone agree/ want that to happen?

FE 6 is out on a ROM and a possible English Patch using a Emulator u can play the english version and Fe 1 wasnt as popular generally due to the System it was on which was a japan only system,and.. im pretty sure they wanted to let people know whats the Craze about Marth in the first place, he is in Brawl and Melee after all

i perfer them in handheld style 2, and for the date and time of gba the graphics r really good, better than most of the other fe games, although i will admit PoR has the best graphics RD has coloring issues, they look like cartoons unlike in PoR
