You're right about the breaks, but he wouldnt of used any throttle as soon as he'd pulled it. You'd only get the wheels spinning at the same time if you were going to carry on driving, not to come to a stop. This vid is just a case of accerlating and locking the back wheels to spin the whole van round 90 degree's into the spot.

It's real, I used to work with this guy in Staples Corner, he's a stunt driver from South Africa, work dried up for him there so he ended up installing for Homechoice (Now Tiscali TV) for a year, then he left to go back to stunt driving.

Tyres* dont always make skid marks when you lock up your wheels, depends on your tyre* compound and the road suface. Just a little information for ya' there... I've locked up during emergancy stops and left no marks on the road.
