@mario54671 Not true, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Clevelend, Philidelphia, San Francisco and New York IMHO were better. Dudamel put the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela in the top five orchestras in the WORLD. The order: Berlin, Concerebow, Lucern Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela and the London Philharmonic.The LA Phil is hardly in that catagory .Yet. Simon Rattle of Berlin Phil. said it future depends on obtaining Venezuelan talent. The same would apply with the LA P.
