I know it's hard for some people to learn this way, but there are some people who can. I leanred this entire guitar solo in like 20 minutes thanx to you basix4!!!
The one I normally use was getting some different pickups installed so that was the reason for using this cheapo Strat copy....thats all that was available.

Okay, honestly, I didn't like that at all. I don't think your version should qualify as a lesson.
Although overall it did stick to the original melody, I found that there were wrong notes (especially on that last descending lick) that just kinda annoyed me.
Although I did kinda dig the tone (harmonics seem to just squeel out - very nice), I really didn't like your version, man.
I'll be happy to post my own version and get your take on it.
Oh, well I understand the fact that it's a lesson because of the breakdowns and examples, but I just don't think it's super awesome enough to teach to others.
And yeah, man, I'll definitely check out that audio version!

Maybe as you are great at it you could post up a tutorial. As I always say....we ALL learn all the time? I don't currently see any on your link. Get some up!!

I'm not really familiar with the "Off The Record" book's version. When I learn Brian's stuff, I try it by ear. If that doesn't work, I use different tabs and scores.

Not qualify as a lesson....thats a bit odd.Showing the piece in breakdowns etc....isn't that like a lesson? If you didn't really like it thats fine.
Please do post a video up. My version played on my audio cover of this song IS way better.
I'd be interested too to hear the correct notes you mention.
