  • I love this song. It's so wistful.

  • What 's the name of the song that plays after Diablo shoots the town up in episode 12, and Vash sees all the dead people? It's usually played during a very dramatic scene

  • Vash's life was quite amazing. the story was funny, awesome and yet sad too. i will remember this til the day i die

  • This sounds somewhat similair to a Cowboy Bebop song called 'Rain'.

  • @119FU probably because Yoko Kanno composed both soundtracks for CB and Trigun^^

  • @Gegenseele Actually a man named Tsuneo Imahori composed the Trigun soundtracks.

  • @ryan7164 weird.. I guess I mixed it up with since she has been responsible for so many anime scores. thx for enlightening me

  • This sounds like puppy love music between elementary school kids...like they know about this degree of epic.

  • 00:20 ;) love that part

  • I loved this scene! Good memories, so good memories...

  • Amazing anime <33

I am glad i am watching it over again

with my brother, this is a great anime not to be missed

and kudos to the awesome sountracks

  • O_p

Just The Best Space/Western Anime Ever...

  • Beauty and the Beast~~~

  • I cried to this song, for like 40 minutes, it filled me with intense happiness, I love trigun it was technically my first anime, but i was younger then.

  • i love this!!!

  • I honestly want this song to be played at my funeral,it is that beautiful.Every time I hear it I want to start crying! It makes me think of all the good times, and I have not been able to recall a lot of good times in my life until just recently. I play this song and Trigun kicks off the boat down the river of memories.I watch the orange sunset and look at my GF as we hold hands.I see good times (and of course Trigun),that show meant so much in my childhood...We just float off into the sunset....

  • the title says "Not an angel" but the song itself suggests something completely different

  • Trigun has the best sound track of all animes

  • I remember owning a 64 MB mp3 player. It held like 15 songs and this one was one of them

  • this song fill me with an overload of happiness, content and memory, vash the stampede will always be number one to me(well theres always goku and light yagami) and thats how it will stay.

  • They should play this in elevators.

  • @TheVisibleWind if they only did, this would make so many people think about their lives.

  • 7 people don't like plants.....git's

  • Vash is the only person in the world that can shot with is gun and still win without any kill. Why? Because the philosophy of PEACE&LOVE is on his side - not so much, for the poor boy is full of metal plates on the body that sustain SIRURGICAL REMOVED parts of it!

  • i love how Vash is like goofy and funny as hell, and then piss him off, he goes in to bad-ass mode XD

  • probably at about 25 seconds in i remeber vash walking in on his brother knives and the dead man who had information on him (i think) and knives just smiles, waves and says "hey vash" while the guy is just laying on the floor in his own blood and vash just starts to cry.

  • hey whats the song that plays on the main menu of the trigun complete seris dvds

  • WHY MUST I CREY. No really. This is so melancholy and nostalgic. I so sad.

  • The best, saddest, and happiest song of the Trigun ODTs. It just makes me feel so good. I'm going through a divorce right now, and this song helps remind me that there truly IS light at the end of this long, dark tunnel...

  • When this song was used for the final time in the flashback between Knives and Vash the city of July, it created a truly depressing yet haunting atmosphere.

  • @DemetedP i know what you mean, i got goosebumps when it started playing

  • Song made me cry, expecially since i thought of wolfwood giving that meal block to those kids

  • I always imagine Vash's lonely sad smile when I listen to this.

  • la mejor cancion de esta serie

  • This song is really sad. You see all 26 episodes of Trigun and see how Vash never had any intention to kill even when he was in danger. It's really sad the show is over and im just looking at the picture of vash on the video thinking of how awesome this show was and how they will probably never make something this good again.

    Bye, Vash the Stampede ;(

  • @chillicheesecat Thats how it is with all great things. Great movies, shows, cookies, ect. Once you get to the end, you're like damn..I miss those cookies.

  • @Knoyes93 yep

  • @Knoyes93 There's the manga, if you haven't read that yet. It's a very great read, and it's VERY different from the anime. There's even two brand new characters that were never in the anime, and the existing charaters such as Wolfwood have their past and backstory delved into a lot.

  • I think the message of this song is that humans are not perfect, and never will be, but we can still love each other, and that is all that matters. ^_^

  • AND NOW, GOODBYE

  • man just listening to this song and looking into my girls eyes and telling her how i feel brings tears to my eyes

  • Actually rakuencallisto the first time it's played in Trigun is in the second episode about 5 minutes in. Vash is hired by that water Baron, and Merrill & Milly go into the mansion to talk about it. Just as it cuts too all of them sitting in the den you see a record player playing a warped vinyl disc playing this song

  • muito loko,me lenbra di + o anime essa trilha sonora...

    ^_^

  • ya know...life's not so bad

  • This is such a sadly happy song.

It's like you're in the warm glow of something so simply beautiful, but there's a part of being there that still somehow hurts deep inside.

Makes me think of someone I love...

  • This song is so beautiful. When i listen to it I can't help but notice the beauty life has to offer. I'm sitting on my bed with my heart split in two and facing the possibility that i might repeat my sophmore year, yet I feel peace when i listen to this song. It gives me a feeling of happiness and hope that maybe one day, the world will know peace. I'm alive and have never felt happier in my life =)

  • @MetalPython101 Wow...that was beautifully stated. Love and peace.

  • @AlbuynoRyen0 we shall have no such language here, only LOVE AND PEACE!!!

  • One of the best on the soundtrack. Plays perfectly in the series at just the right moments.

  • best anime soundtrack of all time

  • nice song

  • A song to be played on a day like today when you're someone like me.

Merry Christmas to everyone who is spending today alone.

  • @KatjaMelnibone it'll be ok.... get a puppy :)

  • i love this song.....I'm totaly relaxed....^^

  • 7 people are CLEARLY not angels.

  • 7 people enjoy sucking penis opposed towards listening to masterpieces.

  • i luv 2:10-2:35 sooo much >.<

the part that used it in the anime in episode 13 after the town got decimated and vash is feeling pretty down just kills me XO

    but agreed, bichin cello

  • @YootubeHatesMe

you are a liar, actually episode 13 is a summary of what has happened so far on the show, up to where he almost kills Monev the Gale.

  • Comment removed

  • Does the beginning of this song remind ne1 else of the beginning of strawberry fields (by the beatles)

  • I heard this song man it is so relaxing i remember a day after football practice i was resting in the the showers after a rough day it was awsum real peacful

  • I'll never forget the episode when this song first appears.

Vash is disarming the reactor in one of the episodes and just looks up at the hole in the wall that the reactor created. The rays of light just shot out through the ceiling and just couldn't do anything but close his eyes and sadly smile.

Vash is probably one of the best anime characters ever and Trigun had one of the best soundtracks ever.

  • @rakuencallisto Actually this first appears on the second episode with mister cliff.

  • @kalmore22 Don't kill the mood with facts! Just enjoy it. xD

  • @rakuencallisto Technically the first bit of the song pops up in episode 2 with Mr. Cliff's Manor... then in Lost July when he's up there pouring his alcohol down instead of drinking it.

  • @Losuurx Ok well I like the part with him looking up through the reactor's blast. If you remember the scene, it's probably the second most intimate time you see Vash in. He tends to have this wall up the whole anime to block out being hurt & hurting others, while keeping a comedic, cynical personality.

The true Vash, to me, was when this scene happened. He just disarmed the reactor that girl tried to kill him in & he just looked up through the wall into the sky, sadly smiled & closed his eyes.

  • @rakuencallisto By the way... unless you can link me to the clip.. and I think I know what you're talking about... I think it was a part of the music of Big bluff.

  • @Losuurx it's like the 2nd or 3rd episode in trigun. it's when the girl tries to kill him from ruining her life in july city. she puts him in the reactor and expects him to die. then vash breaks out.

  • @rakuencallisto That is indeed one of the song parts from Big bluff. Look it up on the playlist... the sound effect/music of the flute starts about 0:48.

  • @Losuurx that is right when it's happening. after it blows up, this song comes in afterwards.

  • @rakuencallisto Dude... You're talking about Lost July episode 6, right? The music right after that is Never Could Have Been Worse. Are you sure you're not thinking of another episode?

  • @rakuencallisto Making a sequel to the series would be as big as dragon ball z or pokemon or any other kind of leading anime

  • @jasonsan10 idk about a sequel, but they should reboot the anime to follow the story of trigun maximum, kinda like they did with fma brotherhood.

  • @shaneorey yea but im pretty sure i speak for everyone that we want another season , same spark , same type of ost

  • @shaneorey trigun maximum isnt the anime version when the gung ho start appearing??

or is after the match between knives and vash?

  • @Anemite the two stiries fork off a little after the gung ho guns start to appear.

  • @Anemite: Neither, actually. The anime version jumbled around and meshed together a lot of events, so there isn't really an exact place. It's sort of a mixture of when Vash had recently met Wolfwood, when the Gung-Ho Guns first appeared, and when he first used his Angel Arm against Rai-Dei the Blade (although in the manga it wasn't used against Rai-Dei). Basically, it ends with him blowing a chunk out of the moon, and then Maximum picks up where he's hiding out under the name Eriks.

  • @shaneorey definetly

  • @rakuencallisto Actually this first appeared in the second episode when vash and everyone are talking in the living room

  • @rakuencallisto i think thats the second time it apears, the first one was in ep. 2 =P

nice scene btw...and yes it is one of the best anime, and manga, ever.

  • I mean 1:24

  • Was anyone else thinking of Beauty and the Beast at 1:30?

  • @Gnormaa hehe...thats fuckin awesome

  • love it

  • every single song in this anime is totally worth to be heard !!!

  • Bitchin cello... I DONT WHO YOU ARE BUT PROPS, CELLOISTS OF THE WORLD UNITE!!!!!

  • "You're hurting like crazy on the inside, yet you grin & bear it.

    That's this man's opinion anyway.

    That's why I have THIS CONFESSIONAL!!! ^_^"

This is one of the most peaceful sounding songs I've ever heard.

  • @Rappalot126 LMAO XD

  • This song is my shit i can be having a bad day and it makes it better for me ^_^

  • RACISM is so 1950's

    DICKHEAD

  • This is an awesome song. Very mellow and soothing. I also find Philosophy in a Tea cup the beginning as great but the rest kinda screwed it.

  • Uh Oh, time for one of Vash's emotionally painful flashbacks.

  • this sounds like something for Pangya

    lol

  • You were just tired

  • I love this song

  • heh heh, i rewatched the series and always thought the music was decent. then i REALLY listened and realized "holy hell this music is amazing!" awesome song.

  • so depressing yet still so beautiful totally amazing

  • I love how, despite not having any lyrics, it totally describes the emotion it wants to describe~

  • This is song is too short man.

  • "you were just tired, that's all."

  • Check out Salostryker's channel, I've made a few songs sampling Yoko Kanno's music from Trigun. I used :14 - 22 in one of my favorite songs

  • @salostryker Wow, I didn't know Yoko had also done this soundtrack as well, I knew the music was great, but I didn't know it was her. Probably should have known.

  • @KODtheawsome

Kind of an old topic by now, but Yoko Kanno didn't do any of the music for Trigun. It's all by Tsuneo Imahori.

Don't believe everything people say on youtube.

  • @micahely Thank you. I checked a while back, thanks for clarifying though.

  • @KODtheawsome Yep, Yasuhiro Nightow is a musical GENIUS! He also made music for Gungrave and Ippo no Hajime, which also had great music by Nightow.

  • @HeatLegs Oops, I meant Tsuneo Imahori. Nightow is the author of the series, not the music composer.

  • I want to hear NAS rap over this; anyone else?

  • It'd be interesting, that's for sure

  • well if this isnt a joke Criss, consider this an unsubcription

  • the violin reminds me of sims2

  • That little cello solo is CLUTCH.

  • @virilevocalist

wow. you were right. i never noticed it before but it makes the song for me.

  • @virilevocalist

    YES

    2:10

    you are so correct.

  • I actually preferred the subbed japanese version more, but thats how i prefer all my animes.

(Trigun though actually had some decent dubbing. Out of all the animes ive watched, theres only about 3 with decent dubs. Trigun, Yu Yu Hakusho, and DBZ)

  • I too prefer the subbed Japanese version of any anime I watch, but there were a lot of characters from the Trigun show that were matched perfectly with their English voice actors. (Knives was not one of them IMO. But I love Knives so I think few can do him justice) Legato, Wolfwood, Vash, Millie, a lot of the Gung-Ho-Guns, etc. They did a pretty good job. :)

I kind of just added to your comment, not really disagreeing with anything. Lol.

  • Code Geass and FMA are also great dub jobs. I also thought Eureka Seven was but some people disagree.

  • Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star had a decent one.

and FUNImations One Piece isnt that bad, either.

  • Yeah, nothing dubbed by 4kids is worth torturing yourself with.

  • FUNimation fixed it. so, so, so, so much. words cant describe, you'd have to see it for yourself.

  • I don't even know what that stands for.

  • Bullshit. The dubs are pretty funny.

  • @Brycepop

I have to agree, i liked the dubs just as much as the raw. The only reason i watched the dubs was because the anime was just too fast paced at times, and you literally couldnt read the subs as fast.

  • @slowsilv3r

    Agreed.

Trigun was one of the only animes that ever had better english dubs. I'd mention Bebop and Champloo as the next best.

Bleach & Naruto nowadays is just baaaad, especially with english dubs.

  • @rakuencallisto Believe it!

  • @slowsilv3r Speak for yourself. l2read

  • I'm hoping the movie is in english. The dub was MUCH better than the original japanese, even.

  • definately! the dub kicked so much ass!

  • For some reason this song makes me feel sad..... is it because this song was playing in the sad flashbacks that Vash saw before he fought against Knives.....?? ;(

  • or maybe its cuz when this song played everything was calm and hes remembering stuff idk but i know it does make you feel a bit sadder

  • @6Trickster9

    exactly.

If you remember Vash during this song, he almost always had his eyes close reminiscing or remembering rem.

  • 25-2:35 changes my life. It literally puts me in a peaceful limbo. I have a lot of stress in my life. And this song takes me somewhere for 2:59. A place that allows me to separate myself from every problem or troubling thought.

  • This is one of the most gorgeous short songs ever made..

  • Beautiful

  • in chapter 12 when a man kills the people and vash look at it, the song?

  • Keep them coming Lomopy

  • I love how the character changes throughout the show, 1st episode, I thought Vash was just a funny guy, now by the late episodes, we figure out that it's more complicated.

  • LOVE THIS! ♥

  • this is the best song its so soothing i love to just sit and listen

  • Amazing song. it makes me feel so calm n peaceful. as if theres nothing wrong with the world. i listen to this whenever im feelin gloomy. it makes me feel...better lol. but yeah this songs awesome :] ....o n btw i heard rumours bout a trigun movie??? is it true?

  • Yep. It's supposed to be released sometime later this year / early next year; you can find the trailer on YouTube.

  • Yes! It is! It's supposedly coming out later this year! I'm so excited. =D

  • From what I'd seen, yes there will be a Trigun movie. I saw a couple trailers for it, one from Anime Boston.

  • does anyone know if the movie will be in Japanese or English? My cousin wants to know.

  • i love this song

  • good tune.

  • I always listen to this song when I need to get my mind off of something. Usually something sad, but, it does work! This song makes me go into my own little world, with just me, sitting under a tree eating a fresh apple, reading a book with nature surrounding me. So calming and relaxing.

  • So calm and relaxing. It's really a great piece of music. Very fitting for Trigun, with all of the emotions in the series.

This song always brings me to tears during 2:10-2:35. It makes me think sad thoughts...

  • I remember this played when Wolfwood gave some snacks to those kids. The song really brought out that kind smile he gave.

  • *SPOILER WARNING*

Didn't this play during Wolfwood's death too?

  • No, I'm pretty sure Wolfwood's deathsong is Rakuen Hallelujah, or Rakuen Paradise, or Rakuen something.

  • yea i think it was hallelujah

  • It played when Wolfwood went looking for Vash after he accidentally shot a hole in the moon. The girl was cutting Vash's hair and reminiscing about her time with him.

  • I love this song. I'm planning on making Kagamine Len sing it, but I just need some lyrics for it...

  • thank gawd this is on utube i didnt kno this wuz on here i been surfin the web lol tyvm!

  • this is so calming

  • Thanks for the post.

  • very mello and calm

    nice
