I love her soooo much!!! She is amazing!! I would kill to have arms like hers, I agree with the others that she is very thin but you have to remember she is 5'9 and her body is naturally willowy!!! She's like a beautiful tall willow tree!

@KasaKatana Ballerinas typically do keep extremely restricted diets, and there is some incidence of eating disorders within the field. Uliana Lopatkina is also very tall for a ballerina, about 175 cm (5'9"), which makes her look even thinner.

anyone know what year this performance was? I just watched her perform in 2007 on another video (written in french, didn't catch who uploaded it) but she looks like she lost so much weight in 2007 compared t this. Or maybe she gained since 2007 & looks healthier here. Her ribs, all bones were all sticking out. Legs seemed much thinner too, although the dance was the same she really did look like she could be a dying swan & not in a good way. She just didn't look as beautiful to me. Hope shes ok

Hard to pick fav. variation. I like Maya's entrance she litterally looks like she could be flying through the air, gliding along without huge flapping movemets. But Uliana doesn't go down to early & when she does her back outward streched arms really do look like wings. Gues I'll have 2 favorites now!

@jazzrina64 did it may years ago. what I forgot was when I stopped dancing I needed to stop all the carbs. Boy am I paying for it now. So either never stop your level of exercise or be sure to adjust the types of food you eat, when you slow down! lol

She does the ending a little bit differently here than I remember her doing it in other videos of her dying swan. For instance, I don't remember having seen the brief little pauses that she does here as she lowers down from standing to the final position.
