the band Evermore made this song and i loved it! now when i hear him singing it i feel like im loving garbage. the song is great, but he made it to much like pop, and he looks to full of himself. honestly he's the guy version of miley cyrus. sorry to all you matt lovers, but you probably all like something someone just randomly made who thinks they are a star.... yuck.

it was an audience choice, but he personally chose it from many entries that were sent to him via the Australian Idol viewers. I was the person who nominated this song, and he chose my entry.

He has also been performing it acoustically, since Idol ended, with just his guitar. Worth checking the acoustic version out, it is very different to this.

there is always 20+ tracks to be recorded. its very unlikley 2 ot more originals will make it. they dont really have a choice. because it has to be out in a week or whatever... thats a week to record vocals. the backing tracks will be ready

The winner gets a contract with Sony which states that the label has 100% creative control which also means he wont have any say in the album. The runner up doesn't get a contract so they have more freedom in what they want to do hence matt shouldn't win because he is obviosuly going to get a record deal either way and do his own thing.
