I am kinda enjoying this background. I always have to read a bit before bed each night. I am loving your purple top. We had steak and baked potatoes a couple days ago and it was yummy. Wow, you were so lucky to get the footage of the hawk! Spectacular. Did you heat the oil before you put the vegies in? If not, that would make it greasy. It looks really yummy! All groceries have gone up, but I think when they make something "special" such as these are baking potatoes, they up the price. Thieves, I tell you! Enjoy your celebration. I will be home watching Dick Clark. He's 82 and I don't know how long we will have him with us!

It cost me $2.39 for one red pepper. Only to get home and see mother had bought one just to have in the house. Heh. Go figure. I need to start growing red peppers.

Yes, I think the sesame oil is too much myself; however, if mom is going to cook I am not going to complain!! I may go tinker with the recipe and tell people to decrease it.

I made the fried noodles last night too, isn't that a lovely coincidence. I taped it as well. I even made the char sui pork (I used Beth's recipe as well with tenderloin) I laughed at the lime in the coconut!
