I see your point and agree it can be hit and miss depending on the marshalls used. I take it you was at DVD? Anyway if you drop me your email address i will send you some pictures of the steepness etc for your son.
Oh No! No one must be allowed to photograph or film a 2 mile round concrete circle, because they might copy it. We can't have copies of 2 mile concrete circles in just anyones back garden can we?
I think your missing the point. Its a proving ground with many secret vehicles being tested, hence the rule. But hey if you want to build yourself a concrete circle in your garden, go ahead, i can even provide you with the plans!
Fantastic answer. I was just a bit miffed that day having been there and being told off for taking pictures of the steepness of it to just show my son. At the time it was being used as a car park. By the way I was allowed to take photos of the fairly secret military vehicles in the show but not the concrete ring. See my point?
@lutonfella I reckon that on the date and time that programmes like TopGear, Fifth Gear etc... test/film, it must be done on days that no-one else is scheduled to be there :)
Weird thing is that the MillBrook High Speed is set up to give neutral steering at exactly 100MPH, so as long as the car will do 100 you can take your hands off the wheel. How do I know..easy I used to work there.
So, You missed all the signs saying photography and filming prohibited and forgot your crash helmets that your supposed to wear on the high speed circuit once you go over 130mph. hmmmm
