@killzone1231000 eh buy a tower because laptops its not really easy to update them and alot of people fuck them up from trying to. Your best bet is to go buy another laptop meant for gaming, or go get a tower and customize it yourself. Unless you have a few k lying around.

In case you have not tried it by now, Dawn of War two is seriously the most brilliant video game out there. It really does take RTS to a innovative level. When people need to down load that for free of charge & don't have to spend all of your money, you can certainly get the total game over at DOW2DownloadXcom (replace X with . ). It works perfectly!

The new DOW 2 is not good.. i brought it and it fast got boring cos of the simple not so many aportunitis to choose. it gets fast to just be the same over and over again. I ditent like it. I would rather play DOW Soulstorm, it was much more intertaining. But if you want a game thats balanced then its DOW 2. much more balanced then any other dow games. no teams are weak :)

Because of the amount of detail they have put trying to creat all of the graphics on DOW2 they havnt been put on but they are goin to bring out expansion packs with them on it again as they want to make each race great in detail and texture.

In the original DoW you could only play as Space Marines, Eldar, Orks, or Chaos Space Marines. They might have only included 4 armies in DoW2 for time-to-make or space-on-CD reasons. THQ will more than likely create expansion packs. They'll probably release Imperial Guard or Chaos first.

you see, dawn of war two is an upcoming game. jut like sims two, it sucks when it tarts, but it builds up small piece by smaller piece. they're making each individual army bigger, better and cooler. this is just the testing phase. when the first four armies are now EPIC, they will work on another 4 in dawn of war 3.

No,it 's a different universe from the Warhammer fantasy.

I can think of many reasons it isn't,but the main is that,the Imperium first met the Eldar in the Great Crusade (28-30k years) on another planet,but on the Warhammer fantasy the Elves are on the same planet with the humans.

What happened with the buildings? That cuts out about half of the strategy from a "RTS" game. I haven't played DoW2 but as far as I've seem on gameplay videos if you lose your main building you get defeated. So what's the point here? Build as many units as you can and rush to the enemy's "construction yard"? Just Imagine playing CC, SC, or any other popular rts game with only one building. Not as fun...

Despite that fact, I still think I'm gonna end up buying this one to try it out.

Me too. Although, for me, I've never enjoyed making all those buildings, rather the whole "run 'n' gun" feature, where you just watch your units do the fighting for you. :)

I especially like the melees in DoW 1, mostly for the finishing moves on individual units.

This game is just like Company of Heros in the cover system and squad play. I think Relic learned some lessons from that game. The new cover system relay fits the warhammer franchise way more than the first one. The bored game was entirely about cover and the first game had nothing anything like a cover system.

Well, if you ask me i liked better the 1st version cause you could build more than one base and you could make multiple strikes on the enemy.

Also, if your primary base was destroyed, you could have a chance of striking again from a secondary one.

I haven't tried playing DOW 2 yet, because i burned my laptops motherboard by playing sins of a solar empire,coh,DOWSS,Aoe 3 and COD 4.

Now i wait for another motherboard from Futzitsu-Siemens to get into the action!
