What a vibrantly happy loving being!! Thank you, Victoria! More and more people around me are making green smoothies because they see how healthy and vibrant I've become by adding this to my daily diet :)
Id like to know what others think of this or if they ever tried it. Due to time constraints and small Kitchen space and lack of Kitchen Equipment, im going to go 100% Raw Vegan, but my ONLY sources of greens will be
These Various Popular, Hugely Promoted Raw Grass Powders such as Vitamineral Green , Pure Synergy, Spirulina, and E3Live Algae, along with Organic Fruits and Fats. Has anyone else out there ever tried this for a few Months ?
I love Victoria, her passion, and her books, however, she does not look healthy to me. She looks overweight, and on the raw food diet, that's an anomaly.
Do raw/vegan fats actually contribute to body fat?
I recall reading "somewhere", that it is carbohydrates that actually make us fat because the body converts what it cannot burn, right away, into storage (white fat). I used to eat a lot of avocados, just by themselves, but I never gained excess weight. I've always seemed to hover around 150 (from 180 down to 139, back up to 150). Just curious what your thoughts were and anyone else reading.
My mistake. You're right about that. I think what I meant to say was, she's probably eating too many "trasition" foods. Too many dried fruits, dehyrated foods, ect., that sort of thing. That can slow down the progress you make on a raw food diet/lifestyle. Too many condensed foods won't really give you the effect you want if you ate pure fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, ect. By the way, I LOVE avocados!
I see, she has confessed to consuming too much nut butter (in Green For Life, I believe).
Me too (about loving avocados). It's usually the fruit that saves me when eating out--a bowl of guacamole, hold the chips. If you have Chipotle's in your area, they have the best guac of anyplace I've ever been (besides homemade).
The fact that she's reversed her grey hair is evidence enough for me to get into blending/juicing. :)

I agree. It's possible she's eating too many fats or concentrated foods.
