@SquareCrystal (some spoilers for after the Main Quest) The song is for original dragon slayers, the first ones. When Tamriel was in chaos as the dragons ruled, there came a rebellion. 1:05 are three of them. They invented the Dragonrend shout and destroyed Alduin, sending him lost in time. The dragons did not leave, they died out and were not seen again for over a thousand years. 'The Dragonborn Comes' I think explains Alduin's return and the Dragonborn's return as well.

Sad thing is those dragons ain't gone. They is still attacking!! D: I had two (Normal and blood) attack me and my follower Kharjo in the middle of the Whiterun province... That was a fight to see: I got a finisher on the blood, stabbed my greatsword through his skull. Then we arched the other to death.

@H34T3N Not completely true. It starts talking about them, but it ends up talknig of YOUR triumph, because:

A). It speaks of Alduin's eternity coming to an end and Dragons dissapearing forever. They failed to do that, but you suceeded.

B). That song is only unlocked AFTER you complete the main quest.
