@Elondras You need the Catch Ledge ability. The beginning of the video shows Altaïr earning the gloves in Memory Block 4. After that you can make the jump and hold the Unarmed Hand button while falling to catch the edge by flag 40.

I don't know how but after following the videos and using the maps - I am missing 1 kingdom flag and 1 jeruselum flag.

Annoyed - I simply cannot tell which one I am missing. I have run through the kingdom line 3 times now.

@kamagawa you'll have to perform a system cache (go to 'memory' in the system blade and highlight your hard drive. Press x and do a system cache. Sometimes you have to press Y,X, X, LB, RB, X, X. In all cases - this should appear: "Do you want to perform maintenance on your Xbox 360 storage devices?"). It helped me get my last flag in Damascus, it was gone due to a glitch :). Good luck!

@Ph33rS0m3 See the article "Earning blocks of synchronization" on TheHiddenBlade (dot com). The short answer is that I didn't do any Save Citizens on this playthrough. In my video "Stylish Assassination: William de Montferrat" I have 20 bars in Memory Block 4. Let's see you beat that, big guy!

@Ph33rS0m3 Haha. Yeah, Viewpoints and Save Citizens upgrade health. Other side missions do not. Read the article referenced above (if you can't find it, PM me and I will send you a link) to see how I got 20 in MB4.

Even harder was getting 16 bars in MB2. IanXO4 and I were planning to do a video stunt on Tamir where Altair sustains 16 bars of damage. Now I have the necessary health but Ian hasn't been able to design the stunt assassination.

@ajmrowland Here's a trick to line it up: Hang off the edge of the tall pillar. Center Altaïr on the side facing flag #40. Release both thumbsticks and do a straight back kick (High Profile + Legs). Catch Ledge as usual.

This method eliminates the need to aim your jump while running.

Including the higher ground of the north and west entrances, there are 10 flags and 6 Templars in Saracen Outpost. They are flags 88-96 and 100, Templars 25-30.

Sometimes Templars fail to spawn, especially in the Kingdom. Try running away 50 meters and returning, or approach him from a different direction.

If nothing works, the most likely explanation is that you've already killed him. Continue looking for other Templars.

you need to press b jsut as you fall past the ledge you want to catch

and you need to be on memory block 4. at the start of this memory block you will receive the 'catch ledge' ability...

Ouch. That sucks epically. Happened to me in Poor Acre cause I collected some before I started getting them all with a map, but there's only 33 in there. not 100.

The only one I need is the one you have to climb the biggest ledge for, then jump down twice along the pillars. I could never make it to the third pillar though (and I tried about 50 times). Never knew you needed the gloves.

The problem I've got is with flag 44 (On that bloody pillar). Every time I jump for it, I fall short. Is there something that I'm doing wrong?

The problem most players have with flag 44 is figuring out the part at 3:20 in this video (using the low pillar to get on the wall). Are you actually having a problem at 3:35? I can't imagine how you would fall short on those last two jumps.

Really?! xD I mean, I knew how to use the ability, but I thought Altair would grab this ledge automatically if he could reach it. I thought it was out of reach, then. I didn't realize he would arrive at a pillar way below and that it wouldn't be just a horizontal jump, but a fall. And that, because of the 'fall', the ability would be needed. The 360 would help realize that, or did have something else in mind?

What I meant about Xbox vs. PS3 is that you get an achievement for collecting all the flags on Xbox. That would motivate a good player such as yourself to figure out how to catch the pillar. :D

Sorry but there's no way of knowing which flag you're missing. That's one purpose of these videos: to recheck every location efficiently.

Here's a tip: The most frequently missed flags in the Kingdom are 54-70, so start with the video "Kingdom Flags 50-73, 79". Good luck.

Most of my Kingdom videos were shot after the first assassination in Memory Block 3. That way I had the Tackle ability (for Templars) and 5 Throwing Knives (for archers) while still facing the minimum level of guards. Only the Roman Ruins video (i.e. this one, above) was done in MB4 because I needed the Catch Ledge ability for flag 40.

Even with these advantages it's hard to manage Anonymity in the Kingdom. Google "social stealth in the kingdom" for my guide on the topic.

Flags 92-100 are in the second half of this vid. I don't understand how you could miss them. Flags 97-99 start at 4:45, and the others (92-96 and 100) start at 7:25.

I used Firestorm's maps (see link in video description) to initially locate all the flags and Templars. The path and method of collection is my own design.

The hardest thing about Kingdom flag collection is managing anonymity. This video was done in Memory Block 4 because I needed Catch Ledge ability. All other videos in this series were done in MB3 to minimize guard resistance.

The best time to do Kingdom Flags (except #40) is the second half of Memory Block 3, after the assassination of either Garnier or Talal. That way you have 5 throwing knives (for archers) and tackle ability (for Templars).

Most players aren't interested in collecting flags at this stage of the game and won't seek out these videos. If you Replay MB3 it sticks you at the beginning (without throwing knives or tackle).
