I sing that part over and over again. It's not any ordinary love. I like what Marcus Cole said on the Commissioned Reunion concert. " It's not an ordinary love....you can keep that love that changes" This is the group that ushered me into gospel music when I came to Christ at the age of 16.

I'm 30 now, and they are by far my favorite Gospel group. I've been listening to them since I was 7. Their songs speak from the heart and are truly made for a worship experience.

Everyday that I'm riding in my car, playing my MP3 player, on my computer and I find myself listening to these guys. I ask myself the same question. What in the WORLD were they thinking when they split up? I'm talking about the ORIGINAL Commissioned from 1984-1990. They had ALL of the right ingredients: the vocals, the writing, the band, the music, and most of all, the anointing of God in every single song that they performed. They shouldn't have parted like that. But that's my opinion.

Marvin Sapp did not appear until their 7th album "Number 7", which was released in 1991. He joined after Michael Brooks and Keith Staten left the group. Marvin is aight with me, but NOTHING will EVER live up to the ORIGINAL Commissioned.
