Ya the shot clock is stupid. Dom Starsia is just a baby. He wants a shot clock and yet he try's to run the clock out with 6 minutes left. Maryland should have won. He also wants to modify or remove the face-off. And he's only saying that cuz all his face off guys suck!

you do realize that every team in the NCAA will run the clock out in the 4th quarter when they have the lead..and dont even say maryland should have won, they stalled everytime they got the ball, they got 10 stall warnings vs syracuse throughout the whole game..and thats boring as fuck to watch, so, no, virginia deserved to win, and they did

I don't like the idea of a shot clock. Lacrosse isn't just a sport like basketball where you can basically just throw it up. It takes time to set up plays. You can't just shoot and hope for the best. I know sometimes they intentionally stall. But some of the time its getting things settled and running plays.

To some extent I can agree with a shot clock, but I'd also like it for the offense to have enough time to be creative, rather than just rush into the opposition, doing a few quick passes and then shoot. I hate it when stall warnings are called when the offense is trying to expand the defense...for some reason referees think that's stalling...it's part of the game strategy, expanding the defense and exploiting weak spots.
