  • Well done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if you would sell it in pro studio quality id buy it..

  • sounds incredible... really good

  • 80's cheese at it's best

  • Nice....!

  • Wow, fat ! Great !

  • very nice done. i have a question for you mate, would you try to cover k.barre right by the moon sounds with your jupiter8 & lm2. soundwise thats the most impressive italodisco track ever made, and those two definitely were used.

  • cheesey

  • Exactly the kind of educational video I come to You Tube for. Man, this is so inspirational! Now I have to go into the studio to see if I can recreate something like this (without actually owning the hardware). I spend more time watching this stuff than I ever did watching boring television. Thank you ;)

  • this is amazing,

it gives me just that 80s feeling i am looking for

  • This is just amazing, thank you for posting.

  • where can I get a a high quality version of this? So good, well done.

  • VERY nice, but did you hear the news? roland finally reacted to the increasing demand of the jupiter 8 and did an updated version with today's technology... the jupiter 80!!! this machine takes us again to synth heaven :DDD (vomiting) :DDD

  • @Jauly The Jupiter-80, as stated by the lead technician, isn't meant to mimic the Jupiter-8, but offer realistic acoustic sounds.

They did add some virtual analog, but obviously it's still different from a JP8. Real analog has something a little different in the waveforms; my guess is that it's due to being a continuous electrical current rather than a bunch of binaries.

  • Looooove this lot :-)))) guess I have to "undust" my juppy too ;-)

  • sounds a little bit like "Koto" and "Laser Dance".

  • Awesome awesome job mate, extremely cool sounds and great use of both machines. The JP8 is my ultimate goal!

  • I would also like to note that I'm relatively new to the vintage synth scene, and unlike many other groups on YouTube you all are such a supportive, cool bunch. I see very little comment battles and put-downs. Nothing but love here.

  • Absolutely awesome demo! These two machines are a match made in heaven.

  • Great sounds, cool music, lovely machines and fantastic sense of humour.

Very enjoyable (yes, i love the 80s).

    Congratulations.

    Sotiris.

  • muy bien representado el sonido disco de los 80´s.la primera y la última parte recuerda a Ken Laszlo.La de The Twins muy buena.

  • I was loving it up until i saw Protools M-Powered, running a Jupiter through an M-Audio interface has to be some kind of blasphemy! Haha! Great video and awesome tune, Well done!

  • @ashleycarr86 Ha! Frankly, I also own other interfaces, like SSL Alpha-Link AX MADI with Xtreme 64 card (much more expensive than the M-Audio), but the M-Audio 2626 used in this video holds its own compared to it. Don't believe the "audio snobs"... most of them are kids who have never compared any audio interface... but parrot what they hear on internet forums.

  • @SynthManiaDotCom Haha, I am one of those Audio Snobs! I work in music retail and get more unhappy customers for M-Audio gear than for anything else. Maybe I just love RME too much. I Sub'd to your channel, keep up the great work! :D

  • Oh my God! The Twins part is simply incredible!!! Congrats Paolo!

  • @projectwoofer It's all merit of The Twins! They wrote the cool song! ;-) But yes, the JP-8 sounds nice for it

  • Always good to see Youtube demo where someone can actually PLAY. Great work as usual, Paolo.

  • @DonSolaris Hi Don :) thank you very much... I need to post more JP-8 demos but the power supply is acting up :-| might need some TLC first.

  • Super!!!

  • With those drums and that bassline for a moment there I thought it was going to be a cover of Rent by the Pet Shop Boys

  • Wonderful video.

  • Nice kit but I reckon I can easily do all of those synth sounds using a Juno 6 and Alpha Juno.

  • great stuff! classic Italo!

  • How to compose an eghties hit in two minutes... Bravo!!!

  • nice

  • Outstanding- One of your best yet.

  • Jupiter 8 and Cowbells!!!!

  • @tomma242 Yes, but the most famous cobwells of the '80s, the stock Linn one ;-) Actually, I take it back... the most famous cowbell of the 80s could arguably be the TR-808.

  • Excellent! Thank you!

  • Great, great demo! It's amazing to discover how such great machines as the JP8 and Linn Drum are the sources of some of the most classic italo-disco sounds. I loved the Twins excerpt in the middle (Face To Face is one of my 80s faves) and I think the whole improvised part has a Ken Laszlo kind of vibe to it. Great stuff!

  • LOVE this one... Love the 80's sounds..I used to have a Jupiter 8.. check my stuff on my channel

  • Nice video. Thx for sharing =)

  • Love It!

  • So much cheese melting down my ears!!

lol great demo, it is always nice to see and hear a JP8 ;)

  • This is so awesome. lol. Great combo too, this has to be the first vid ive seen on here that show cases the JP8 and the Classic Linndrumm together!! Plus there isnt enought JP8 videos on youtube. Kudos. I like it.

  • great song...

    efix dorati

  • lol cool

  • I like it a lot at 2:21
