@Fab4RPGJ You Don't Get The Meaning. I Do. They Wanted People To Think Paul Was Dead So They Said That, And The Walrus In A Different Country Has The SAME Meaning Of Death.
@AmeriKinfolk alright geez. its not that i dont know the meaning, im just not clear why they keep refering to this. its like an old joke. not really funny anymore
@beansterman1998 wheres the connection to "The End"? I think The End was the last song they ever recorded, and this song was released way before that, on their album "The Beatles" (popularly known as "The White Album", so there couldn't be a reference to The End on here.. And Octopuses Garden was also released on an album that came way after this one.
Continuation of my earlier comment: You see, John really only put in that line to confuse because of the Paul Is Dead urban legend, and John wanted to confuse everyone a bit more. Still, most people are pretty sure that the Walrus was definitely John, it makes the most sense, however, i guess noone will really ever know for Sure... Except the Beatles themselves. Oh, and maybe the people who helped with the I am the Walrus music video. Oh ya, and Possibly there manager and producer as well..
By the way guys, when he says "the walrus was Paul" it doesn't necessarily mean that on the I am the Walrus music video, Paul was the Walrus. Heres a quote from Lennon that should explain things, "I threw the line in—'the Walrus was Paul'—just to confuse everybody a bit more. It could have been 'The fox terrier is Paul.' I mean, it's just a bit of poetry. I was having a laugh because there'd been so much gobbledygook about Pepper—play it backwards and you stand on your head and all that."
@Fab4RPGJ Haha no, it was a song based on clues of the legend of "Paul's Death", saying he died in a car crash and so they did this whole thing with their albums..but Paul only got in a minor crash but John wrote the song "I am the Walrus off a poem and made Paul the walrus
@RickyGervaisFreak well yeah i know that now. when i first sort of learned about The Beatles and stuff I just thought the walrus was Paul then I listened to the lyrics in this song then i found out I was wrong ^-^ I like how were having a conversation about a walrus
