@42922thomas are you using DVDs (not cds)?  is your disk blank? have you tied with various brands? you can write to vso technical support and they will help you.

BTW, most DVD players WILL ALREADY do slideshows with just a regular CD or DVD with regular photos. Doesn't even have to come from some big outlet photoshop thingee.

What is the price difference? and please argue why PhotoDVD Creator is better. You are perhaps right, but not everyone looks for the same thing in software, some are more complex some are more simple with more or less options . . . I think it is a question of taste.

if you choose hard disk folder destination it will not burn automatically, you can do it manually with the option "burn an existing project" from the software
