@dabiggone22 make sure the wires are still attached to the sensors or the wires aren't destroyed somewhere.

Does the foil mod make it more sensitive? My arrows almost didnt work anymore.. untill I cleaned the sensors. They work pretty good, but not as they are suppose to do. Do you think the foil mod will fix this? Also my two upper corner select buttons didnt work anymore after i cleaned the sensors.. They just dont react anymore, not even a little. My control box is also half broken ( I stepped on it -.-). Can this maybe be the cause of all the problems I have? (sorry if my english is bad btw ;p)

@92Romy92 Yes, this mod will help make the pads more sensitive. The control box being snapped in half would likely cause problems as well for your dance pad. You might also want to check if all your wires that are connected to the sensors are still connected and have no broken off.

@xkonsentox Thanks for commenting back so quick! Im definitely going to try this :) By the way, my dance pad is in a cold (sometimes temperature below 0) and moist environment.. I dont know, but maybe the sensors cant stand the cold either? Do you know if they can stand the cold?

@92Romy92 They probably cant stand the cold environment and it would put them on the fritz if it remained cold during play. But in all honesty I dont think it would cause problems like your having or any problems in general. Moisture... Ya not great for the wood and wiring in the pad but otherwise I dont know if your doing the pad any harm.

@xkonsentox Im going to do the foil mod,put it in a warmer environment for a while and buy a new control box. I hope this works! If not.. than i will have to buy a new one :( Thanks for your time and information! It helped me alot :)

@92Romy92 No problem dood! Hope everything work out for you.  The worse thing that happens is internal damaged which is nearly impossible to fix without destroying the pad in the process. But I am sure doing what you just said will be a major help to you! :) Good luck!

@xkonsentox Lol ok ;D I did the foil mod today btw! It worked fine in the beginning, but when I played again few hours ago it didnt work that good anymore :o if I press an arrow, it registers nog 1 time but sometimes more. It's really anoying, cuz I tried everything. The wires on the sensors are also connected an stuff.. Maybe it's too old, and used to much :o Dont know.. I dont know what to do bout it right now :( I think im going to save some money to buy a new one unfortunately..

@92Romy92 It sounds like you didn't use the right kind of tape or the tape correctly. You HAVE to use double sided heavy duty tape. If you use duct tape it will come off and break apart. Open up the panel and make sure the foil isn't tearing apart or slopping over onto the panel.

The foil mod is fantastic. I didn't even have to move my sensor closer and each of my steps is registered completely fine at the edge of the pad (i heel toe/flatfoot step/whatever). Great mod :)
