How to make a bamboo blowgun

Hey any other way to go threw the bamboo but heating the pipe ?

So...does the bamboo have a role? It's just a cover for the real blowgun, which is the pipe

@loggiaoscuraduecitta . No the bamboo IS the blowgun. The hot metal rod was to hollow it out.

Ah, ok. It looked like the pipe was still inside the bamboo when you shoot.

@loggiaoscuraduecitta . Welcome. As I remember it, I am 100% sure that the heated rod is used only to hollow out the bamboo. I guess you could use anything as the pipe though, it wouldn't need to be bamboo, plastic would work just as well, imo, and would save you having to hollow it out. Does not look as good, I suppose...

@thewoodenspade I've seen them at home depot, if not there you could try a nursery that sells bamboo and ask them to sell you some pieces or just buy a plant and grow them yourself
