And last but not least, your either a prick or and ass hole, when in fact you could be a really nice guy. One more thing. stormthorgerson...the 288 GTO I think would probably be a mechanical nightmare with twin turbos', etc. The 355 is probably dollar for dollar, the greatest ferrari experience someone could have. For $50k you could have one of these babies and get nearly the exact performance of the 288 and have a reliable useful Ferrari. Think about it.

urkingod...The 348 isn't even in the same class. The 355 was Ferrari's first real daily driver in terms of the behavior/reliability of the drive train. When it came out, many said it was the greatest car ever made, period. It's a bargain these days.

i think the 360 is a mean looking car, but it sort of faded into just a transition from previous 355-type ferrari the present, don't really care much for. I like the 599, but it can get a bit bulbous for me. the 430 is really an excellent car which i should've mentioned, clean, aggressive lines and ridiculous performance. i wouldn't call the former two beautiful. But the best designed ferrari for me is simply the 288 GTO. the perfect car

We love Ferraris not because of specification but because of substance. Still, the specs don't hurt! Ferrari doesn't take the easy solution to power output. No, its engineers make every cubic inch *work* for a living.

And: five valves per cylinder! Not even F1 cars have that! Just... wow. Best 8cyl Ferrari ever. I'd have it over the F40 easily.

Actually, no. Magnum used Ferrari 308GTS, which was quite a bit older model than 355. Front is a bit similar, but otherwise different cars.

355 looks a little too much like the Ferrari Testarossa or F348. Which is a good thing :)
