We had sex ed in Jr. High and I got in trouble because I refused to take a condom. This was 15 years ago. I would have gotten in SO much trouble if I got caught with a condom by my parents. So this video is ridiculous.

I went to a HS in Los Angeles, many teen pregnancies. Why? Because their fundamentalist & catholic families would not address safe sex. The kids were afraid, uneducated and had sex.

A good sex education program explains how to protect yourself from STD's and pregnancy with regards to sex, with an emphasis on abstinence because that is the only 100% way to protect against pregnancy and STD's.

2nd, sex education is NOT a priority. The No Child Left Behind Act requires math, language arts ,etc or schools lose some govt funding. Safe sex education will never be a priority.

Maybe there would be a teenage use of condoms if people would talk to them about it. Many Parents don't like talking about the issue or don't feel comfortable with some of the questions that teens may ask, and many teens may not feel comfortable talking to their parents about it.

Abstinence only sex-ed causes unwanted pregnancy and STDs in teens more than all other types of sex ed combined.
