That was a great video clip of before and now pics of the areas where the civil war happened.I ask you respectfully, please put up more of these and make it longer, and if you have any, please include pics of Andersonville prison in Andersonville,Ga.Thanks so much.
I'll be taking the ghosts with me. Thanks for putting it together in the manner you did. It's not often that one has a chance to look at things the way you presented them here.
Excellent. I had the privilege of visiting several battlefields whilst on US on holidays from the UK. Your post really puts it into perspective that apart from a beautiful place to walk and explore, thousands of your countrymen died here as well. Thank you.
i cant tell you how many times i sat there at each of those places, along with gettysburg, or the white house park, and sat and sat, your mind will wander , but the feeling is peace, which is odd to me, knowing that death was there full on in each of those places,
In England we had a civil war but because we let the losers get back in power we dont really revere the hollowed ground as you do. This is a tragedy because you can walk on the very ground your heros died on. We have difficulty finding ours and some battlefields have even been built on or had roads run through them. We should be like you and be honest and faithful where our past is concerned.
We were there last summer on the way back from Gettysburg. We saw all the sites--it was very peaceful and hard to believe the devastation that occurred there. I grieve for the men on both sides.
it is still very moving to see such images a waste of good european stock

Nice job on the video. I really liked the way you displayed a second look at the "before" picture after each before & after picture.
