easyCAP audio fix (dc60 no "+")

Why is the drivers folder comprised of an executable file which configures software installation? I was expecting to search for drivers into the same folder and then update them personally. Sorry, I'm a bit confused here.

@aragoza2950 Nowadays these drivers are always integrated into installation software - it is more simple for the newbie user and they also want that it would be more difficult for the users to try to modify those files. I would also like it more if they will still provide them also separately.

@HSCPohenix if u r getting bad audio try and run it thru the mic input of ur computer instead of through the easycap and then change the incoming audio setting on the software. u will need an adapter though to turn the red white cord into a 3.5 mm

thanks 4 ur link to driver homie. it seems they redid the site and now it says v2/drivers if u go thru main page and they have a potentially different set of drivers each for 32 bit and 64 bit, but the link you give still works. i am going to try the new linked one but thanks again for the link to this site that is selling this same item as easycap trying to get rich off someone elses designs.

I get the audio, poor quality, and no video, just a yellow screen. Any tips on fixing the video. I've checked all the settings, they are correct and followed the instructions on installing the drivers from the CD. So, what am I doing wrong?

@CC00MZY i have the dc60 no plus, while im saying this is the exact on i got im pressing dc60 (no +) and it brings me to the screen at 2:41 again no plus. il be making another tutorial soon. just be patient haha am a student. hope the videos i got can help you guys so far. subscribe would be awesome and will tell you when i have a new tut out

All my drivers work perfectly already. Audio, and sound. The problem I'm having is while I'm recording, I can't hear it. You can hear the audio once you watch the video, but when playing whatever you have playing, you can't hear the audio. I use it for games, and sound while playing is quite important. Any ideas?

Ok I downloaded that driver thing and i extracted it to my desktop and its like a setup once i did this i was prompted to restart my system so i did but when i restarted the drivers could not be installed on the hardware. So I tried again but only the audio worked which is useless when the video doesn't so I went back to my old driver.

But anyway does everything automatically play in colour when it actually works or does it involve adjusting a lot of settings???

@Bongster7 hmmm ok well if the audio worked for you (which it never had before, i would say since the easycap uses two different drivers for audio and for video use the old driver for the video part, then use the new driver for the audio part like i did in the video, i tell people to erase there drivers from what they installed so that they have a "clean slate" but im forgeting what drivers i used, i know the new driver is a must for audio, and i know that the video is working awesome (HD)

Thanks 1991OREO. But do not buy these ULTRA cheap fake Easycap DC60 from Amazon or Ebay because they have inside some different chipset than an original Easycap DC60 and the quality of the video and audio is much worse than with genuine EasyCap DC60. Besides that the name of the video driver is STK1160 Grabber but it is not made by Syntek, because original driver STK1160 doesn't work with this fake product. Original EasyCap DC60 works with Windows 7, but this fake product doesn't support Win7

@EasycapExpertti thanks for all the info, and im glad to know where to get a genuine easycap, as alot of fakes have major issues that would not be as easy as just downloading a driver.

i almost bought a dazzle but it seems like the easycap saved me alot of money and has better video and audio with a bit of settings. thanks again

Halo3 is coded with 60Hz in Xbox, but it is coded with 50Hz in PS3 - You are playing with PS3?

I'm confused.. It clearly states on the box that the game only works with 60hz. While Halo and Halo 2 supported 50hz 3 doesn't. So You need to use either PAL60 format or NTSC-433 format with 60Hz video and DC60 doesn't support these formats (DC60+ does support 60Hz). So with DC60 there is not those formats at all in the menu and then when You are using a normal 50Hz PAL-B or NTSC-M formats that video should come out only with black and white colors.

i used my halo 3 odst multiplayer disk, (halo 3 all maps)

im pretty sure there the same Hz as halo 3 campaign disk, im using NTSC-M

NTSC-M is a normal 50Hz format, so Your Halo3 must be coded with 50Hz - so it is different than usual.

il check the original halo 3 disk and let you know
