I understand, and agree with you. However, you have to understand, this teacher has to undo countless Sundays of Biblical ignorance that have been hammered into these kids heads since they were born. How can he even begin to explain what evolution really is, and how it really works when he first must rid them of the delusion that snakes do not actually speak, And that a magic rib-woman didn't come from a magic dust-man? He has his work cut out for him. This is the deep American South.

@FSUjonnyD Very true, and I do not envy the job he has (and as I'm not an american, I can hardly even imagine what it is like), but as said in the clip, he himself is a creationist. That certainly doesn't help.

I go into a brain store and I see that there are several different types of brains. There are evolutionist brains and creationist brains. The evolutionist brains cost £20 per ounce and the creationist brains cost £40 per ounce. I say to a worker "Why do the creationist brains cost more? Are they smarter or something?" He says back to me "No it's basic marketing. Evolutionist brains are used".
