Husky...Please read "Legacy of Lies." It is full of empirical facts regarding the distortions regarding the Kennedy assasinations1 Yes there could been a plot, but it was not Johnson. The Kennedys were deeply involved with corruption, mafia, killings of foreign leaders, drug use...Something backfired on them...Johnson had no connections to Kennedy's death!
RFK would probably have never won that Senate seat if LBJ hadn't been at the top of the ticket in '64. But you could argue that LBJ would never have been president - let alone elected in a landslide - if it hadn't been for the JFK assassination. So I guess it evens out.
@elperromagico I wonder despite all of LBJ and his evil friends hatred against RFK, why did they actually helped him win as a senator. may be they wanted to appease him by making him a senator, so that he gets satisfied of being in politics and does not run for president, which is why all those years while he was the senator, they did not kill him. but when he became the presidential candidate and won primaries, they felt danger and he was no more.LBJ was unpopular by 1968.
@sidrahsiddiqui You don't appease someone by making him a Senator, since from there its an easy step to run for President. Truth is RFK was a ruthless bastard who gave LBJ a hard time as VP, but then the tables turned, No question they hated each other, but had a political role to play.
@ADAMSIXTIES When was in your timeline of history, RFK was a VP? You have a right to believe in any history you want. I don't intend to take sides on this matter. I view history only with facts not conjectures.
@sidrahsiddiqui Obviously I meant while LBJ was VP. But anyway I don't believe LBJ has anything to do with the assassinations, even though he did have a motive.
@ADAMSIXTIES Alright, that fact of LBJ being VP did not come out clearly in your earlier comment.
