Ok I did everything EXACTLY shown here, also I have a HTC Touch pro 2 Sprint and it is SIM Unlocked, yet when I insert a at&t card that I have already activated it will not work on teh phone , When I go to network settings it just does not read the at&t network, does anyone have the slightest idea in what I need to do?

AT&T SIM cards lock to the phones you activate them with, so you have to call tech support or customer service and have them unlock it from your current phone and then activate it on your new phone, which is easy and fast. And they might ask why you wanna do this, just say you got a new phone.

well why don't you call the customer service and tell them your IMEI number and they will email you unlock code and then you can use any other carrier...I Have a Question...but what does unlocking the radios and reflash the device means here ??????????????????????????????­please and US 3G will not work means u can't access internet through provider/service carrier?????

The particular sprint TP2 is not programmed to run on US GSM radios, only european GSM radios, to enable people to use their phones in other countries, but without giving them the freedom of using other american GSM radios. So you have to unlock and reflash and all that good stuff so you can use american GSM radios. :]

the gsm only option is not availble.. it only allows me to have it on CDMA only.... can i still continue with the process by using the IMEI on the back of the phone and after using the rhodium/flashing the hard SPL.. will it give me the option to have gsm option under the phone network.. ????

After the unlock, can you swtich back and forth between Sprint and AT&T or run both at the same time? I have Sprint for work and AT&T for personal. I am thinking of doing the unlock so I don't have to carry two devices.

Only if you call customer service and they ask you questions about your phone, they might be able to tell it's not their model, but I don't think it really matters. Alot of people do this.

Actually, CID unlocking doesn't have anything to do with Security Unlocking. CID unlocking is only useful if you want to stick with the stock SPL while still being able to flash ROMs not made for your device. The downside is that CID unlocking only allows you to flash signed HTC ROMs.

Security unlocking is completely separate, and allows you to flash radios made from other devices, modified radios, allows more commands in SPL and OEMSBL, and allows access to OEMSBL by keypress

So wait a second here...you have to buy HardSPL for the Rhodium? Is OliPro in on this? I thought that HardSPL was free, I can understand selling the SIM unlock code, but I think selling HardSPL is a violation of OliPro's GPL liscence.

I believe there's already a free HardSPL by Olipro on XDA/PPCGeeks. I think for this one, it's just buying the SIM unlocker, but with HardSPL and Radio all in one.

The Verizon one is a little bit easier to unlock all you need is to unlock the SIM security by purchasing an unlock code on the internet. Best of luck.
