@lxsosna I love Breaking Bad too, but I think The Wire is in its own category. In my opinion, the biggest difference is the scope; Breaking Bad is largely Walt's story. The Wire is Baltimore's story, with the police, drug addicts, drug dealers, the children, news writers, politicians, etc. The Wire has a more 'cut and dry" directing style and takes a lot of your attention (more plot driven, more like film than TV). The first four episodes are slow, I'd suggest watching the 1st season.
