He's a 1 term senator running on a lucky ticket in one of the worst economies we've had in our history.
I'm wondering if the monthly job trend continues if voters won't feel more confident in 9-10 months, because we appear to be to be finally swinging out of it, with absolutely zero help from the right. My company just got another million dollar contract and hired 30 people. I am very optimistic.

It was a low turnout. This wouldn't be the first time a conservative "dark house" has taken a seat in New England only to lose it 2 years later when things are bad. The same will be in con districts that elected moderate dems in 2006. Many of them were 1 termers.
In any case, we'll get our health care bill just like the GOP got their tax cut for the very rich... with reconciliation. This election doesn't effect the political landscape.
