Paulo aka 365degrees, thank you for your nice comments! Please go to BortzAutoCollection to read stories about the 1953 Pontiac Parisienne which was a General Motors Motorama car and was also shown at the Concours d'Elegance of America at Meadow Brook in 2010.
I see this video is a couple years old but it just came through to me by way of recommendations for me so I watched it being a huge classic car fan. I had never heard of the 53 Pontiac you have until today. I thought I knew of everything out there-lol-The car is a beauty to say the least but one of my first thoughts after seeing the roof was how the corvette shares the same removable roof. Funny how some things were around longer than most think. Thanks for the video.....Paulo.
1953. An historic year for GM and other makers.I still own 1953 Coupe Cat and 1953 Buick Super .(low mileage preserved originals)MY money would go for Packard Carribean and Buick Skylark IF ever I were to hit the LOTTO.The Parisienne and Silver Arrow ARE the GREATEST (to never have been sold)
The Parisienne was not for sale - we were getting it ready to be featured at Pebble Beach for the 100th anniversary for GM and I was just messing around with my new video camera. Yes, the Biscayne concept car is also part of the Bortz Auto Collection.
FYI - we have a 1960 Pontiac X-400 concept/show car in the collection also. I am assuming that has a lot of similarities to your 1962 Pontiac Bonney.
Hi 53chieftain - I am not sure how this works responding to comments. I am new to You Tube. Yes, this is our car it is the 1953 Pontiac PARISIENNE concept/show car from GM. I am new to posting videos and the car was out so I thought why not try taking a video.
