I tried to post my thoughts about this a few years back and got jumped... My ex was a Sandinista, and trust me, there was no 'call up'. They kicked the damn door in and took your boys to the jungle and forced them to fight.

Because of his Sandinsta affiliation he could never get residency in the US and was considered 'un comunista' by the Cuban judge who had no understanding of Nicaraguense affairs or their civil war.
