  • yeah,

    I cried.

    Miss you/wish i knew you.

  • i remember hearing rumor that the dead had been banned from playing in VA, so when they came to play they headlined as the warlocks? Anyone know if that's true?

  • I was there and it was some show. Hampton shows always sounded great. Never made it to Florida for Spring Break, but saw the Dead 3 years straight in Hampton. I don't think I missed much. I was standing up front just a few rows back. Nice to see this show here on youtube, it's wonderful in fact.

  • Nice! Thanks for this upload.

  • This was a special night

  • This song seems to so profoundly describe America today and the direction we're headed.

  • Damn right, damnright!

  • @london1073 What are yoou talking about "the level were dealing with" ?

  • @damnright4 Damn right, damnright!

  • At 5:33 Jerry waves as to sign: "Now this is me !", and sings

Though I could not caution all/

    I still might warn a few/

Don't lend your hand to raise no flag/

    Atop no ship of fools

Superb, the coolest of the coolest guys.

  • Wow, there is a lot of cool stuff going on during this Ship. Bobby stares at his guitar the ENTIRE time, except to sing and 1 glance at Jerry. Bobby is milling around the stage like an ant. His approaches to the mic are so bitchin. Jerry is dialed in. And as usual, the littlest movement outside the norm makes the crowd go bananas. This is wonderful. Man, I love the Dead. Great post, cdzikus77.

  • haha hilarious- i love them all but i do quite like the funny comments about bobby he is so weird lol

  • thanks,
