The territory occupied by the USSR is to the east of The Curzon Line which is the eastern border of Poland, proposed during the Soviet-Polish war. This territory consists of the western parts of Ukraine and Belorussia occupied by Poland. The USSR "invaded" Poland counteract the German invasion. At that time Poland lost it's independence and this "invasion" was legitimate.

Russia gets rid of most of their troops, America invests in defence (and they cut on strategic forces), while China and India seem to be preparing for war. Yes it did, Germany was divided in two during the Cold war - East and West Germany. The West produced and used it's own military equipment along with the ones of other european states and the USA, while the East was entirely armed with soviet weapons and fighting vehicles.

Plus, if they were socialist then all of industry would be nationalized minus small business. The government really only nationalized things such as war industry and other government related works. And as for workers rights, Fascism is corporatist, which can be seen as good or bad by anyone on opposite sides of political spectrum.

Fascism consists of a mixed economy that is mostly private, but major industries such as war production and resources are owned by the state. The private market is controlled enough that the rich do not have as much influence as in capitalism. Also, fascism does not following socialism as a social ideology, advocating equality and anti-imperialism.

Good comments and understanding on Fascism. Add there the large, state-owned military sector. Germany got out of recession using that. While the consumer goods barely increased in 1933-40, the military sector grew from 5% to some 40% of GDP. It created many jobs, sort of funny jobs, because one cannot consume military stuff, basically most had jobs, but lost the purchasing power. Also, the income and wealth disparity grew in 1933-1940. Imperialistic and extreme capitalism.

In fact the wealth and income disparity GREW dramatically in 1933-1940, becoming the highest in Europe. Under the cover of some popular no-jobless policies, the corporations accumulated power and money, in the military sector using state orders and payments. Germans were basically paying most of their taxes to large corporations. Nazism is an extreme capitalism.

Russia gets rid of most of their troops, America invests in defence (and they cut on strategic forces), while China and India seem to be preparing for war. Did you know they both have very good strategic "skills"? And with China holding most of the USA's economy (seriously, they have warehouses filled with dollars), and South-Korea officially still at war with North-Korea... things might go bad.

Japan however has quite tight economical bands with America (like one-third of their export goes there). and China. @hboyvn Yeah I guess China can't make the dollar fail on command, but the dollar of course can fail because of other reasons (perhaps even because of the euro failing, which momentairly aint to stable) and this could still trigger a chainreaction. You however musn't underestimate China's and India's strength. The USA spends about 650 billion on militairy each year, after that is China with 100 billion. This seems a big difference but the USA's gonne cut like 100-200 billion (in contrayr to Cina)
