I borrowed both GOW games on PS2 lol. But I did buy GOW 3 when it came out. I say buy the combo packs for PS3 (GOW1 and GOW2) and the two they just came out with for PSP. They are higher resolution than the PSP and PS2 counterparts.

If anything, the new DmC is leaving it's own styke copying god of war(Using chains) and Heavenly sword etc...

"You can pull out awesome moves without having to memorize 20 combinations". This is exactly why this game is the only hack and slash game I like. Simple controls but a deep combat system. No other game has done it so well for me. All the others of this genre make me feel like playing a fighting game and that is the exact reason why I don't like either. Complex button combinations. GoW FTW!

@Rqoiz It would be pretty awesome to have a God of War game that takes place in Norse mythology. Egyptian is also cool, but then it would remind me too much of Prince of Persia.

@KevinArcade Wouldn't it lose its identity somehow by doing that? I mean they would totally have to change the character too since Kratos is a Spartan. And in such a popular franchise when you change the main character people freak out. MGS2 for example. It is a neat idea I guess but even if they made the perfect game it wouldn't be well received by the fans.
